Contest Observations

Now that the end is in sight, we are already finalizing the contest points so that after the contest closes (March 18), all we need to do is add the points for comments on our blogs. However, while tallying, here’s a couple of things we observed from new participants and the referrals system:

The referrals do not acknowledge their referrer at THIS PAGE. Non-acknowledgment means that we will NOT count them as your referrals, EVEN IF they completed the requirements of the contest. So please, if you are actively referring people, follow-up to see if they have commented the URL of their post about the contest HERE and the URL of their post about the major sponsors HERE AND have acknowledged you as their referrer. It’s your duty to follow-up those you refer because you will be the one earning the points.
Some participants do not follow the requirements. We asked that you post about the contest and the major sponsors’ links in TWO separate posts. You won’t qualify unless you follow the rules to a T. That’s why we have rules. And that’s why we have already made this as easy as it is humanly possible. We don’t think any more spoon-feeding can be done.

Those are our observations so far. We will edit this post to reflect any more points that wewould like to raise.

Mommy Moments: Cars And Kids

Dear Marce Chris,I am really sorry I wasn’t around for the last couples of Mommy Moments.. was busy preparing for a lot of things (contest and Mico’s birthday). Aside from that, our Sati is being more playful. She can roll over with ease and demands attention. She hates it when I stay long on the computer. And oh, I just discovered, she is teething now! Our little angel is growing very fast!

So forgive me and I hope my entry for this week’s theme will do. Cars. Cars. Cars.

Gambling For Our Contest

My blog life is not a secret to my hubby. He knows what happens on blogniverse. He is my shock absorber when I receive a bad comment. He is the first one to congratulate me when my PR increases. He knows that we are having a blog contest, he even compared our contest to casino games for real money. I can see his point as our sponsors are like gambling for back links. Imagine they trusted us and become one of our sponsor without even knowing how much they can gain from us.

I believe, as far as today, we had give what is due to our sponsors. We promised them back links, we gave them a lot. Now, it is like winning in an online slots for real money. Specially for the level 3 sponsors, they only pledge some dollars and yet they gain 50 plus back links. We were a bit shy on our major sponsors though, our promised of reviews were not met, but we devised something so that they can still have 200 plus back links.

So now, that the contest is about to end, I hope our sponsors will be happy and our contestant will be satisfied with the result. Our winners can try their luck on online roulette for real money. They can use the money they won from our contest. And if you don’t know where to go, there are sites that gives out ratings for the best online gaming site.
