In this Civago Water Bottle Review, I’m sharing why I’ve become a little obsessed with keeping my kids hydrated, especially during summer. Since I’ve had kidney problems before, I know how important it is to drink enough water every day, so hydration is something I’m extra mindful about at home. Part of my morning routine is filling our water flasks with ice and water, then bringing them to my kids’ rooms so they always have cold water within reach. After trying around four to five water bottle brands, Civago has become one of my favorites for daily hydration.

Is the Civago Water Bottle worth it?

For me, yes. Out of the different water bottle brands I’ve tried, Civago is one of the easiest to recommend because it gives good value for its price. It is relatively affordable compared to other brands, but it still has the features I look for in a daily-use water bottle.

Why do I recommend the Civago Water Bottle for daily hydration?

The main reason I like it is because it makes drinking water more convenient for us at home. There are many size variations, the mouth is wide enough for easy ice refill, the handle is durable, and there are two options for lid. One with straw and the other one is with fix big opening for easy pouring.

What sizes are best for adults and kids?

For adults, I find the 128 oz Civago Water Bottle to be a good size because it can hold plenty of water for the day. That’s more than 3 liters of water, perfect amount of water in hot country like ours.

For kids naman, the 64 oz size Civago Water Bottle works well. That’s almost 2 liters of water na, so kung makaubos ng isang flask si Marius, I’m good. For older kids naman, refilling is easy, if they dont refill and just finished a bottle, ok na din for me.

Is it easy to put ice inside?

Yes, and this is one of the things I really like about it. The bottle has a wide mouth opening, so hindi mahirap maglagay ng yelo. Since I usually fill our flasks with ice and water in the morning, this feature makes the routine much easier and faster. Yes, kahit yung yelong gawa sa tindahan, kasya sya.

Does it need extra accessories?

No, and that is another reason why I like it. Some water flasks need additional accessories to make them more convenient, but with Civago, I feel like it already comes with what you need. The handle is also better compared to some other bottles in the same price range, mas matibay ang feels nya and easier to carry around.

What do I like most about the design?

Aside from the practical features, I also like the available colors and designs. Personally, pinaka-bet ko talaga yung violet among all the options. It is simple but still cute enough to make me enjoy using it every day. Sana lang magkaroon din ng violet na 128 oz Civago Water Bottle.

This year, we’re celebrating 23 years of marriage, and what better way to mark the occasion than with good food and simple moments of gratitude.

For our celebration, we chose to enjoy some delicious treats from Goldilocks, a brand that has long been part of many Filipino celebrations. From birthdays to family gatherings, Goldilocks has always been a familiar and comforting presence on the table.

Since we’re both coffee lovers, we picked Tiramisu as our anniversary cake. Its rich coffee flavor and creamy layers made it the perfect dessert to celebrate another year together.

Of course, no celebration is complete without savory favorites. Our table was filled with some of the Goldilocks best sellers: Lumpiang Sariwa, Pork BBQ, Pancit Malabon, Lumpiang Shanghai.

We had two all-in-one food trays that included a delicious combination of Pancit Malabon, Chunky Pork BBQ, and Lumpiang Shanghai. The Pancit Malabon featured thick noodles coated in its signature rich, savory sauce, while the Chunky Pork BBQ added a smoky, sweet, and savory flavor that perfectly complemented the meal. The Lumpiang Shanghai, crispy and golden on the outside with a flavorful pork filling inside, was of course a crowd favorite.

To complete the spread, we alsohad a separate tray of Lumpiang Sariwa. This fresh spring roll is filled with a savory mix of vegetables and wrapped in a soft crepe-like wrapper, topped with its signature sweet sauce and crushed peanuts. Each dish added something special to our meal, making the celebration simple yet satisfying.

More than the food, what made the day meaningful was the reminder of how far we’ve come together. Twenty-three years of marriage is built on love, patience, laughter, and partnership.

And sometimes, pinakamasaya talaga na celebrations are the simple one. Yung buo at magkakasama kayo, sharing a good meal, reminiscing about memories, and looking forward to the many years still ahead. Here’s to 23 years of love… and many more to come.

Baguio Hotel Near Burnham

Where to stay in Baguio City? Baguio Hotel Near Burnham that’s literally just a quick walk across the street, with premium quality rooms, big parking area, and a buffet breakfast that doesn’t feel “tinipid,” check out Venus Parkview Hotel located at 19 Kisad Road, Baguio City.

This hotel is super ideal for families, barkadas, and couples who want comfort plus a very convenient location. The best part: Burnham Park is right in front—cross the road and you’re already at the Burnham Park playground. Perfect for morning walks, quick park dates, or letting the kids burn energy without needing to drive anywhere.

Location-wise, it’s also a win because a lot of Baguio essentials are walkable. You can easily reach the Baguio market and the night market on foot, SM Baguio is within sight, and Session Road, Ili Likha, and Baguio Cathedral are around 1km away. So if you want a trip with less commuting and more relaxing, this setup is perfect.

For rooms, they have options that work great for groups. During our January stay, we booked a connecting room—one room with a king-size bed, and the other with two double beds. It’s a good layout if you’re traveling with kids or with friends because you’re close, but you still have your own space.

And yes, big plus: their parking area is spacious. If you’ve experienced Baguio parking stress before, you know how valuable that is.

Food is another reason why this place stands out. Their buffet breakfast is generous with lots of choices, and it really feels worth it. We even had dinner at their restaurant for two nights, and honestly, the quality and taste stayed consistent—same great flavor even after so many years of people checking in here. Expect mostly Pinoy dishes, comforting and homey, parang classic recipes.

They also recently opened The Parkview Restaurant & Lounge—an upgraded, more upscale spot with coffee shop vibes. It’s a nice place to chill, have a quiet moment, or enjoy “me time” away from the kids.

Good news too: their Flower Festival promo is extended, so if you want the cheapest deal for your dates, message them on their socials and ask about the promo.
