Super 8 Grocery Warehouse and Funfest 2014

One of my favorites supermarket is having an event this Saturday, March 22.. too bad the venue is quite far from where I live..ang saya pa naman nito since all grocery items are on sale, some by as much as 30%!

March 20 and 21 are reserved for Super 8’s top costumers and March 22 event is open to the public. On March 22, the event runs from 9:00 am to 6:00 PM and admission is free of charge.

Super 8 Grocery Warehouse Funfest is an annual event that offers guests abundant shopping deals, exciting activities and fantastic freebies. Two Toyota Wigo’s and four 100cc PMR Motorcycles, 16 iPad Minis and Super 8 GC will be raffled on March 20-22 to lucky visitors!

This year’s theme is “Super Fiesta, Super Saya sa Super 8!” which replicates the vibrant fiestas the Philippines is known for, tamang tama, papasok na ang buwan ng mga fiestas 🙂

And because the theme is fiesta, expect a festive vibe during the event.

What Best Friends Are Made Of..

Last Saturday was International Women’s Day and I spend the day making cupcakes for my best friend.. one of the most awesome women I know (sorry Mahros if I have to copy your status, that’s the most apt description eh haha).

We’ve been friends since college..so that’s 10+ years ago (wag nyo na alamin kung ilang tao haha). We’re blocmates but didn’t hit it right..not until we became sorority sisters..and the rest, as they say, is history.

We’re not the kind of friends that talks everyday..but when we see each other, it feels like it was just yesterday that we last hang out.

We shop together but not that often.. kawawa ang mga bulsa namin!!! Our taste is almost the same (if not that the same> oh you know what I mean)..

And she does silly things with my kids:

She is a teacher by profession and I couldn’t count how many times she had helped with academics, like sharing me what she had learned during her masterals (Marungko approach and how to teach the kids effectively).

If there is one person (aside from my husband) who knows me really well (as in really really well..) that would be her.

And this our promise to each other….

If ever (sana lang talaga!) Les Miserables will be here, we have to watch it..and yeah bring a duct tape to prevent each other from singing our hearts out!
