Bags And Shoes

Christmas is nearing and I have been saving up to buy toys for the boys and for Sati too! All my income goes to them. Buying them goodies makes me feel good about myself. I am a stay at home mommy and buying stuffs for my family from my own earnings is something I am proud of. As for my needs (and caprices),let’s see how hubby will react to that.

I just heard about this boots from Chie Mihara. It was pretty and in the my favorite color (brown). It’s expensive but it is really cute! Can I ask my husband to make pret immobilier and buy it for me? Of course not, I am a very practical person, but see for yourself how pretty the shoes is:

Isn’t it lovely?But well, if we cannot afford it, maybe any bags or bagagerie publicitaire will do. I just check out some of their pieces and I am liking a few. Honestly though, instead of looking for a bag that suits me, I was looking for a bag that will be of good use to my husband. That’s the problem with me, always, whenever I shop around (in malls or online), I tend to look for their stuffs than mine. I guess mothers are built that way, family first, self last.

Do It Yourself Gadgets

When I was a kid, my grandmother taught me how to recycle things and make diy gadgets. She taught me how to make useful things from plastic bottles and empty cartons. She never fails to tell me the importance of creating something useful from waste. It can save you a lot of money and can even challenge you creativeness. One of my favorite do it yourself gadget that I learned was creating a basket from phone directory pages or newspaper(like the photo below). It was really fun and easy to create.

I also want to learn how to make complicated gadgets from trash. I saw a house once that is made out of trash. Inside the house, decorations were made out of glass bottles. The furniture inside the house were also made out of plastic containers and even corks from wines! I was s amazed with the owner’s creativity.

Now that I have kids , I have thinking of ways to teach them how to recycle. Although it is too early to teach them artistic do it yourself gadgets, we’re taking it one step at a time. For now, they knew they can use cartons as pencil holder, and that’s a good start right?

Coupons Are My Best Friend

After what happened to us last weekend, I am not sure how long it will take to recover all our loss. Al our appliances are gone to waste. The first floor of the house was filled with flood water. Good thing I am an avid collector of coupons. Discount coupons that I can use to buy some stuff that we need. In times like this, we need all the discount we can get to save. We have s0 much to buy and a discount is our savior.

I have some Wal-mart coupon codes that I can use to buy some stuffs for the kids. My youngest boy’s crib were damaged too and some of their cabinets and some clothes too. I will use the discount coupons to buy some nursery furniture for the kids. And I hope that we won’t experience another flash food in the coming years.
