Days Ahead

It is seldom that all the kids are here. My boys, my nephews and our princess. My sisters were both staying in the province. They only visit us once every two months (that is if we’re lucky). So whenever they are here, we make sure that the kids (and we too) enjoy their time being together. If we can let them play with atv, we would (maybe when they are older LOL). One of things that we let them enjoy is eating. Ah no, food partying! We let them eat ice cream together, complete with sprinkles and choco syrup. We let them do their own pizza and let their inner chefs let loose.

And yes, as expected, my house is like a pile of garbage. Toys everywhere, clothes everywhere, kids everywhere. I already accepted the fact that every time they are here, cleaning is no place here. So if you haven’t seen me in social networking sites or haven’t hear from me, the only reason is, I am busy enjoying.

Electrified

May kuryente ba?

That’s how my mom took care of us when we’re not feeling well.. that’s the magic of acupuncture. The term, electrified is when she stimulates the needle and we feel something, yeah like being electrified.

According to her, I had my first taste of acupuncture even before my second birthday. I am used to having 6 or more needles on me. And now, my kids just have to try it..

At first they were quite scared but look at them now.. they say it’s like magic! yay!

Dissecting Dissertations

Have I mentioned that I did not finished my Bachelors Degree? I took up Bachelor of Science in Food Technology in the University of the Philippines Los Banos but I did not finished it. I was only there for two years and left with my boyfriend then, husband now. So when you asked me about thesis, I am not an expert on it, what more about dissertations. All I know is, this is a formal and lengthy document written by a candidate for a doctoral degree.

And since, we’re on the topic, why not write something about it.

Dissertation or thesis (as people refer it) is a document to support a candidate’s qualification to have a degree. This is submitted to support the candidacy. It is written here the author’s works, research and findings. Dissertation is usually related to doctorate and thesis for bachelor’s degree or masteral’s degree. There is a difference in terms of use and also int he way it is written or made. I will try to explain the difference as I too try to understand it.

If you will read some thesis writing help, you will learn that a typical thesis has a title page, an abstract, a table of contents, chapters that dwells on the topic of the thesis, a bibliography and reference section. The title page should be well taken care of. Although it is only a title page, remember that this is the first page, the judges will see. You will also learn that abstract is the page where in you will put the summary of your thesis. This gives the main idea of the thesis so make it interesting. As abstract is judged if the thesis is worth reading or not.

And when you look for dissertation writing service, they all follow a certain structure. Although they differ a bit in terms of field of study. It can be on arts, humanities, social science or technology and though there are differences, they follow almost the same structure. Dissertation report on a project and the structure reflects normally the following: introduction of the topic and an explanation why it is chosen, presenting of relevant literature, explanation of the research, findings, analyzing the findings in context with the literature mentioned before and lastly conclusion.

So right now, while reading more about thesis and dissertation my head is spinning. I don;t think I can handle this kind of writing. In a way, I am glad that I did not have to go through that but part of me regrets that. I wish I did experience how hard it was and I knew I would have learned a lot from doing it.
