Today is officially exam week. And I would be off to review land. I noticed from their grades last grading period that they liked it better when I am the one tutoring them. Their grades improved a lot. Well in fact they like it that we do not have a helper now. Mommy is the one taking care of them, helping them to take a bath, brushing their teeth and so on. Oh, even my first born who always insist on taking a bath by himself, no longer wants to. So I guess, it is really important for them that I am the one doing all the things for them. It is quite tiring but it is very rewarding. Reminds to post the picture of the letter he made during our review time last grading period.
This third grading, I am not expecting that their grades would be higher, I just want it to be fun for them same as last grading period. To tell you honestly, I even let them to be wrestler and play during exam week. Kids are kids and you cannot force them to study when they are not happy.

Change Of Plans
We had no plans on spending Christmas in Nueva Ecija but suddenly we were driving home. The familiar breeze of North Luzon expressway is kissing the car’s hood and as we stop by Shell, it suddenly felt home. It is still far from home but it was a route we always take. But you know that decision to spend Christmas was so worth it despite some small drama on Christmas day.
Two reasons:
First one, we got to spend it with my nephew who flew to Singapore before New Year. And my sister (his mom) promised to look for ipods there, to sell of course.
Second reason, we made a decision there that will change our lives and better the lives of our kids (and will benefit me and my mom)
Aside from that, the kids enjoyed it the most because of the side fishing trip we had. It was a fun filled vacation, something that I need. And comes New Year, mommy and daddy is one horse driven workers.
From Texas to Mexico: A Quick Delivery Tale
Quick Delivery (QD) is a company that offers delivery service from over 125 restaurants to consumers. Imagine 120 plus restaurants with just one delivery number: 2121212. You can even order anytime of the day (but of course it depends on the schedule of the restaurant you want to order). Can even order online. The best part about this, you can order in advance!Me and my friends were able to experience the Group Order System (GOS) (link to site). Let me tell you, this system rocks! So here’s the story:My two helpers were on vacation and I only have my sister to help me. My friends are coming over and I can only cook some dishes but not enough to accommodate our appetite (mwahaha). Timely, Quick Delivery’s Group Order System (GOS) was introduced to me. So I tried GOS to order our food. All I did was to create an account and order for group then add my friends name on it. They were notified and was asked to input their orders, then I finalize our orders and come Saturday, we were munching on true Mexican dishes.. yum yum yumHere’s a clearer and a step by step guide on how to use Group Order System (GOS) (screencaps)

Finalize your order and an email will be sent to your friends. As you can see, you can edit the amount each one will spend or you can have the option where each of you will pay for each order. You will also need to set the cut off time for you order. Once the order is closed, expect a call from QD representative to confirm your order. Our orders was finalized days before the get together and I set it to be delivered at 12 noon. I got a call some minutes after finalizing the orders. Unfortunately, the driver was lost along the way and arrived late. It always happen as people confuse our Barangay (Sta Lucia) to Sta Lucia in the east. I let it pass but I hope their drivers would be more familiar with the Barangays (specially if it is an advance order). Good thing though that the type of food we ordered were not heat sensitive (like Pizza or ice cream).

We ordered Chips and Salsa, Mexican Platter and Agave Baby Back Ribs. Of all the food, I enjoyed Baby Back Ribs the most.. and will be ordering this one soon!
I wish we had known about Quick Delivery’s Group Order System (GOS) before our Christmas Party. It was a perfect system for group ordering. No need to ask around what your friends want to order and the advance order system makes your food ordering hassle free. I highly recommend Quick Delivery, give it a try and enjoy the benefits of Ordering QUICK!
