Our past (and last) ER experience with Mission Hospital was not good… I can’t even recall if we ever had a pleasant experience with them. The only reason we kept going back to that hospital is proximity. After our last visit, we vowed never to go back on that hospital again (if you’re wondering what happened, it is just a simple case of disrespect but if you’re experiencing some pain, that kind of disrespect is hard not to ignore).
The new building is very enticing though (this is located a few meters from the hospital) and I found out that this building serves out patients only. We have to try our luck, I need to bring my 2nd born to an Ophthalmologist ASAP. It turns out that Mission Medical Plaza is way, way better than the hospital.
The receptionist are very accommodating and the reception area is homey and comfy:
This is third floor reception area, Optha clinic is located on the 3rd floor. It’s nice no? If you’re a Mission Hospital OPD patient, you’ll agree that this new building is far better than the old one. The clinics are bigger too:
and better! As you enter the clinic ( I believe each clinic looks almost the same), you’ll be greeted by the doctor’s secretary and there’s a waiting area inside! Think of Medical City’s OPD department, medyo ganyang level na sila 🙂 And I think their rate are still the same (I will ask the Dra Simon> the Optha attending to us, if her rate changed when they transferred to the new building).
We know naman na nakakatamad talaga mag pa check up and minsan nakakatakot din.. but with Mission Medical Plaza, parang ang sarap mag pa check up araw araw, kahit wala kang sakit LOLÂ

love this article. good read.
may i know po where po ito located and how much per checkup,my son needs an operation kasi po..
it is located in Pasig po, sa may de castro
Good that they accept all kinds of health card.. Nice ambiance
I have experienced being in a hospital for roughly a month attending to my sister after her spine surgery, so relate ang lola sa mga disrespectful people, a big NO NO. Entire hospital staff should always be sensitive and courteous in dealing with patients and their relatives—dapat i-push lagi yan!
Hope your junakis would have the best treatment he/she needs:)
It was a nice article.
nice ambieance
You’re lucky to have a hospital near your area. Our house is also located only across the hospital.
i like this review.. thank you for this info.
Tumatanggap din ba sila ng Health Card?
yup! we used our health card for the check up
And complete din ba equipments nila?
NAOPERAHAN AKO SA NOSE BECAUSE OF CONTINOUS BLEEDING AND LAST 2014 SEPTIC ATHIRITIS MAGALING ANG DR AT MURA PA. ANG WIFE KO SA MEDICAL CITY NAGPAOPERA TWICE NA RIN NAMUMULUBI AKO. NOW I HAVVE MY INTERNIST DR. LEYBAG AND OPTHA DRA. SIMON SA KABILANG BUILDING MAAYOS SILA AT AFFORDABLE ANG PRICE. ALL OUR EMERGENCIES SA MISSION NAMIN DINADALA
Another Hospital na pwedeng puntahan since its in Pasig din,I love it pag maayos at maganda ang waiting area, kase ang hirap pag sobrang init at sikip pag checkup time ng pamangkin ko may sakit na ung bata nakakastress pa sa pagaantay pang ang daming tao.
nice facilities…and i commend for the nice service…
I’l try to bring my Mother there para mpa-check up xa 🙂
Mostly Government Hospitals masusungit ang mga staff. Basing this on my personal experience from being a student nurse and when I had my first baby. I had my baby in a Gov’t hospital pero naka private room ako at may sariling OB, while my OB was on her way to attend to me sinungitan ba naman ako ng isang doctor at staff nurse kase nga dumadaing ako sa sakit ng labor, kaasar lang..:(
But if ever i get pregnant again (sana) i’ll going try to visit this hospital.
ay no, this is not a hospital, medical plaza lang sya for outpatients 🙂 stick with Medical City for confinement..ganda talaga dun! hehe
G Liner po or any bus going to Taytay/ Cainta
