Barbie ‪#‎YouCanBeAnything‬ Campaign

Our friends from Richprime (licensing agent for Barbie here in the Philippines) shared to me Barbie ‪#‎YouCanBeAnything‬ Campaign video:

Barbie ‪#‎YouCanBeAnything‬ Campaign

Barbie ‪#‎YouCanBeAnything‬ Campaign

I find the video super duper adorable! The Barbie ‪#‎YouCanBeAnything‬ Campaign is full of positive vibes and very inspiring!

Sati’s favorite doll is Barbie. I don’t know where she got. I love playing Barbie when I was young but not really into Barbie that much. Sati on the other hand loves Barbie to bits! Barbie dolls, Barbie bag, Barbie shoes, Barbie bed sheet, you name it! Barbie everything!

I always give in to her Barbie demands.. and why not?!? She is the most loving and caring daughter any mom could ever had! I am not telling this because she is my only daughter.. she really is that sweet and good-natured young lady.

I have always seen Barbie as a reward for her attitude and school achievements. In fact, we’e been saving up for her Barbie house (sooo expensive!). After watching the video, I have realized that Sati sees Barbie in a different light.

Barbie is her TOY. Barbie is her classmate. Barbie is her friend. Barbie is her seatmate, her costumers on their pastry business. By playing with Barbie, Sati can be anything she wants to be. She can be a pastry chef.. she can be a doctor and Barbie can her patient. She can be a fashion designer and she will design clothes for Barbie. By playing with Barbie, my girl uses her imagine and with that, the sky’s the limit!

For Sati, she wants to be an artist and Barbie is her model.

Have you watched the video? Tell me what you think about the Barbie ‪#‎YouCanBeAnything‬ Campaign?

I really love that ad. It’s empowering and inspiring. I love that Barbie is doing that for little girls.

I like how you see things differently. I also agree that by playing with a Barbie doll, our little girls’ pretend games help them decide what profession they would like to take. Nga pala, I don’t have a girl Ihihi.

My daughter loves Barbie! I think they’ll get along well because of Barbie! She also wanted to get the Barbie house which is quite a splurge on my pocket so we tried building a barbie house made of balikbayan bayan boxes for the mean time.. Lol! Barbie brings out the creativity and imagination to kids their age and i do support her fondness of Barbie.. Thanks for sharing this!

Barbie will be part and parcel of any girl’s childhood. I still have a handful of Barbies that I’m keeping, pwedeng ibenta as antiques in the future, haha!

I miss my Barbie Collection so much! I had how many dolls and a couple of Ken dolls. I had a house, a pool, an office, a car… I was so sad that I didn’t have them anymore when I had my daughter. Barbie has evolved today and the diversity is encouraging.

Barbie is serious in rebranding ha! They recently launched new dolls that represent different appearances and now, girl empowerment. Good job Barbie!

I love barbie ever since. I dreamed to have my own room full of barbie stuff. I even watched all of it’s movie until now. But the new barbie is way better than before. It shows that size, color, and height won’t matter. It teaches little girls to appreciate their own beauty.

I love the positive image Barbie had become. I thought my girls would grow out of the dolls by now, but they are still their best friends. I hope they continue down this road with this life affirming message – even at the expense of my wallet! LoL

My girls were not into Barbie so much kasi they grew up without these dolls LOL. Siguro kasi my husband influenced us early into Star Wars. But in regards to their campaign, I guess it’s good kasi they encourage girls to focus on improving themselves as persons and not so much of the beauty in the outside part only.

I love Barbie! I used to collect it and I think I will do the same for my little girl. This new development is a nice welcome for the brand. 🙂

loving the inspiring concepts that barbie is currently showing to our young girls! I remember once in my childhood where I would ask my lola to help me make new clothes for my doll cause it’s too expensive to buy those premade ones at the store… But the weird part of me (and my kid since she does this too) is that I take off the doll’s hands and legs and then try to put them back. Hehehe… 🙂 Oh memories.. I think at one point or another a Barbie doll will be a part of a girl (or a girl at heart )kid’s childhood 🙂
