Little Tikes Adjust N Draw Table Review

Last March, Little Tikes Philippines announced that it will be closing their online store and with that comes a closing out sale. And you know we love anything Little Tikes. While browsing the site, the Little Tikes Adjust n Draw Table caught my eyes. The table price is 3500 PhP (can’t remember the original price) and seems like a good buy. Good thing, the site accepts paypal payment. I bought this and paid 500 PhP for delivery.

It took them a while before the product was delivered.. but it was worth the wait!

This is one of the reasons why I bought the table:

First born loves to draw and this table is just perfect for his hobby!

It’s also a good table to use whenever I teach my two younger kids.

The table can be adjusted into 3 heights. The first one, as seen on photo above and the second one is photo below.

Third adjustment is below.. but I think, we’ll never find a good use for this one..well except for this one where the little girl enjoyed posing for the camera 🙂 (or if I needed a table to sew a ski pants or for any other sewing projects)

The table was easy to assemble but you’ll need an automatic screw driver and a hammer to finish it. You will also need a helper when doing so. After a few days, I learned from a mall visit that the table is worth 6000 PhP at Toy Kingdom. What a steal!

The table also serves as their dining table.

Summer with SM Kids’ Fashion

SM Kids’ Fashion launches their summer collection at Dusit Hotel in Makati City. This season’s collection is all about bright and colorful ensembles. Joy Dy Juanco, Vice President of SM Kids’ Fashion, shares, “Our summer 2013 collection is bigger and brighter than ever before-brilliant hues, bold prints, breezy fabric. Throw a big pool into the mix and you have the perfect summer party.” The event includes a summer fashion talk with image consultant Ms. Patty Betita with her team of junior stylists. And the fashion talk does not end there as SM Fashion Kids’ brings Style Lab, Fashion Styling Workshop to SM Mall near you. Check out the photo for details:

Head on to the nearest SM mall near you to see the newest collection from SM Kids’ Fashion.. just a warning though.. everything is too cute not to buy! hahaha The last time I was there, I almost bought everything! But since I can’t do that, I managed to grab a few shirts for the boys and a few cute outfit for the princess.. look!

Sati adores her yellow top and wants to wear it every time  While Chico loves his hooded muscle shirt.. and now they’re asking for more summer clothes! Even the bigger boys want a hooded muscle shirt.. oh well, summer is still a long way to go.. we’ll definitely buy a few more summer clothes from SM Kids’ Fashion.

Making History Subject More Fun

I heard my first born talking to his friend about school.. you know the usual stuff, how to take a nap during recess, favorite subjects as well as least favorite subject. As expected, his favorite subject is Math (that’s the hubby’s genes talking!) and his least favorite (more like the subject he hates the most) is History (Hekasi or Sibika). It was so cute hearing him and his friends talk about Lapu- Lapu, Magellan as if it is the most unusual topic on Earth. I cannot blame them as I find History a boring subject.. specially the terms used! Oh noes.. nose bleed! Mas malalim pa sa balong malalim ang mga Filipino words!

And so.. we will soon launch Project History! First mission this coming school year>> make History subject as much fun as  I could!

Now, I am excited.. how can you make a boring subject spring up to life? Games? Artworks? Re-enactment? What else?

I guess, I will start with the Globe and maps. Come to think of it, we can make a good game of finding a country.. we can make  contest out of that! How about a game of listing countries that starts with a certain letter? The most number of countries listed wins! ayayay! So many ideas!

But how about the dates? Whoa!! That’s another reason why I never liked History.. to many dates (and names) to memorize. Well, if the kids love reading comic books, well I guess, we;ll give History comic book a try. If I won’t be able to find one, I’ll just make one! Weeeeh Calling all the gods and goddess of creativity.. HELP!

Obviously, more that the kids, I am the one that needs to study about History.

How about you my dear readers? Have anything to share on how to make History subject more fun?
