Happy Birthday Kipling!

To celebrate its 25th year this year, Kipling showcased the biggest bag collection last March 30 at  SM Mall of Asia Atrium. Here are some of the photos during the show:

I would love to post all the photos I took but that’s a lot! The fashion show lasted for more than 20 minutes.. so many bags!!! I love  each collection that I enjoy taking photos of it..

After the show, we enjoy some games Spot the Monkey, Kipling for Keeps and Pair It! My sister won a shirt from Pair It! And of course we did not missed the chance to say Happy Birthday Kipling!

Kipling presented its Spring/Summer 2012 collection, which included bags from the Basic, Basic Travel, Sweet Me, My Valentine, Vintage, Gorilla Girlz, City, City Business, 25 Years, Back to School, and Working Life line.  Each collection is perfectly designed to adapt to the lifestyles of today’s discerning women travelers who want no less than quality, functionality and style in their travel pieces.

Kipling’s 25thanniversary celebration included teaming up with 8 artists of different nationalities for a special bag remix project with the motto: Play!  Each image tells a story embracing Kipling’s spirit of being fun and clever using Kipling’s blue and red Classic bags—a statement that fashion is too fun to be taken seriously. The eight featured artists include Sarah Illenberger of Germany, Rankin of the UK, Paul Graves of the USA, Alex Salinas of Belgium, Javier Mariscal of Spain, Vincent Gapaillard of France, Li Wei of China and Prince Lauder of Mexico. Happy Easter!

It’s Easter here already and let me just say, HAPPY EASTER!

We’ll be having our first Easter Sunday party here! yay! was busy yesterday preparing for bunny ears, flowers, eggs and planning for this event..

Our front looks like this:

Those are the bunny ears we made and some flower from paper plate.. making flowers from paper plates is a lot easier. Today I’ll be putting the eggs for their egg hunting activity..(oh I hope my bagets will be careful with my plants).

Anyways, here are some inspirational Easter Quotes that we can ponder (from Quote Garden)

Easter says you can put truth in a grave, but it won’t stay there.  ~Clarence W. Hall

The joyful news that He is risen does not change the contemporary world.  Still before us lie work, discipline, sacrifice.  But the fact of Easter gives us the spiritual power to do the work, accept the discipline, and make the sacrifice.  ~Henry Knox Sherrill

Easter spells out beauty, the rare beauty of new life.  ~S.D. Gordon

Where man sees but withered leaves, God sees sweet flowers growing.  ~Albert Laighton

We live and die; Christ died and lived!  ~John Stott

Once more to new creation Awake,
and death gainsay,
For death is swallowed up of life,
And Christ is risen today!  ~George Newell Lovejoy

Let the resurrection joy lift us from loneliness and weakness and despair to strength and beauty and happiness.  ~Floyd W. Tomkins

The story of Easter is the story of God’s wonderful window of divine surprise.  ~Carl Knudsen

Our Lord has written the promise of the resurrection, not in books alone, but in every leaf in spring-time.  ~Martin Luther

And here’s a funny Easter quotes:

I lied on my Weight Watchers list.  I put down that I had 3 eggs… but they were Cadbury chocolate eggs.  ~Caroline Rhea

again,

HAPPY EASTER!

don’t eat to much eggs today 🙂

Getting to know In Vitro Fertilization/ IVF

Fertility was not a problem to me… I’m so fertile that I can get pregnant almost  every year if I want to. In fact, I have to take birth control so as not to get pregnant every year. Now I am taking birth control so as NOT to get pregnant ever. I already have enough kids.. that’s four (3 boys and a princess) plus my nephew’s with me too (along with her mom). Physically I don’t think I can survive another pregnancy and childbirth, financially, we can’t!

It’s not the case for every mom/woman of course, some has to resort to IVF and other fertilization techniques to conceive a baby.    IVF or In Vitro Fertilization is done to treat female infertility (due to Fallopian tube problems, in vivo fertilization is not possible or is a problem). It also done to treat male infertility such as low sperm count or there is a problem in the quality of sperm cell.

The process how in vitro fertilization is done can be quite complicated but to make it simpler, it is done by fertilizing the egg cell outside the body and when it is fertilized, it is done injected back and place on the carrier’s uterus. The success rate of IVF varies to what it is being measure, usually by pregnancy rate or by live birth rate. Success rate is higher if the mother/carrier is younger.

How much is the cost of IVF treatment? It varies from different Fertility clinic. A friend of mine who had a successful IVF (and gave birth to a very handsome baby boy) shared that the cost of IVF in Singapore is  SGD 18,050 or ( USD 12,910 ) for one cycle (which takes about 6 weeks).
