Here’s another Black Friday Experience from one of our blogger friend, Traci:

When you first heard of Black Friday at Walmart, what was your initial reaction?
When I first heard about Black Friday, I was way excited. Great Sales, what a great day to shop.

Did you plan what you are going to buy for the Black Friday?
I haven’t really planned what I will be buying this year, but I am looking to get my Little Man a TV for his room, and they usually have some great tv sales on Black Friday

Can you share with us what is on you list last year?
Last year I had like major list. Toys, toys and more toys for the grand babies and Little Man, but this year I am looking for the right big ticket item for each of them, instead of a ton of little stuff.

On the day itself, what time did you went to Walmart?
When in the past I have gone to Black Friday Sales, I have gone way early in the morning like 6AM. I know others go way earlier, but no sale is worth being out any earlier than that for me.

Can you account your experience from the time you arrived until you got your purchase?
I really can’t, but I know it was way crowded, they had ran out of several of the sale items and the check out lines…Oh my!

What are the items that you were able to buy and how much did you saved?
I really can not remember but I am sure I did find a few great deals.

Are you going to Black Friday Walmart again this year?
I am not sure..I know I would love to get a deal on a TV for Little Man, so we shall see I may just have to venture out this year

What are your tips for first time Black Friday Shopper?
Be prepared. Black Friday can be a very crazy day to shop. Be patient. Remember everyone wants to get that special sale and gift. Have Fun.

Little Tikes Philippines Showroom

A few weeks ago, I saw my little girl playing with the storage cabinet’s door.. she’s doing play pretend, the cabinet’s door to be the door of her play house.. She’s a very playful and imaginative girl, but you see, I really have a hard time buying toys for her. Having 5 boys in the family (3 from me and 2 nephews) I am so used to buying toys for the boys, I can even do it with closed eyes.. and when I see her playing bahay-bahayan with the cabinet door, I knew she really needs a playhouse. Her Ninang Kaye gave her a tent and she really enjoyed playing with it.. but she won’t stop playing with the cabinet’s door..

My eyes were fixed on buying a playhouse in Walmart, a lot cheaper compare to the play houses being sold here but when I learned how much the shipping will cost me, I have to look for a local seller.. then I saw Little Tikes Philippines at Sulit and was surprised to learned that they are having a sale!

And based on my computation, the price on Little Tikes Philippines is almost the same as the one in Walmart, considering the tax and shipping fee.. so last week, off we went to Little Tikes Showroom at Pasong Tamo. I learned that their showroom in Shaw Blvd is under renovation.

Here are some of the items that I saw from the showroom:

Playhouse.. playhouse and more playhouse!

If the kids were with us during that time, I am pretty sure they wouldn’t want to leave the place 🙂

Online Black Friday In Walmart

If you’re planning to buy a lot of stuff this coming Black Friday and you’re stuck in your country, why don’t you try buying Black Friday items online? Let’s hear it from Dina and learn how she shops Black Friday Deals online.

When you first heard of Black Friday at Walmart, what was your initial reaction?
The first time I went was 11 years ago. I was up at 5am and at Walmart by 5:45 ready for some serious bargains. I got alot that year. Puzzles, playdough, kids games, ps games, clothes, gift sets and so much more. It was a rush.

Did you plan what you are going to buy for the Black Friday?
Yes I do plan ahead of time and I also utilize many sites that list what will be for sale those days.

Can you share with us what is on you list last year?
I don’t really remember. I got most of my stuff online last year on Black Friday.

On the day itself, what time did you went to Walmart?
Online at 5am

Can you account your experience from the time you arrived until you got your purchase?
It was all online last year.

What are the items that you were able to buy and how much did you saved?
I bought lots of dvds, video games, dvr, tv and other things I can’t remember. I saved around 350.00!

Are you going to Black Friday Walmart again this year?
I love doing it online now. That is the only way for me.

What are your tips for first time Black Friday Shopper?
Get up early, eat breakfast before you go, put your tennis shoes on and be prepared to work out getting all those good deals!!! I love Black Friday Sales and will always be a repeat shopper.
