OB Gynes Should Be Professional!

Dear OB Gynes (in General)
(but most specially to the one holding a clinic somewhere in Ortigas),

Now I won’t tell if the clinic is located in Ortigas Center or along Ortigas Avenue or any mall along Ortigas Avenue..

You know, it’s not very professional of you to say in a disgusted tone how many my kids are.. now excuse me..

Er, did I asked anything from you to feed my kid?

I know having a lot of kids can be unhealthy to my ovaries, but the hell you care?

Right? So why do you have to use that tone that as if having 4 kids is a sin? Or are you just turning green with envy?

And when you asked me how many kids I want.. I forgot to tell you that I want 12.. and you have no right to question that.

So Miss OBGYNE from Ortigas.. there would be no second time.. and to think that the hospital you are affiliated is one of the biggest (in terms of building and fee) in Ortigas but your mind and professionalism is so small.

a bit amused,
Pehpot

Discerning Moms Day Out

Being a mommy who wants to know everything, I am so glad that Unilab invited me (and other mom bloggers) to see their plant in Mamplasan. Getting to know how our meds are made will assure me that I am giving a medicine that is not only effective but is done with world class standards.
We were picked up in Julia Vargas, me, Tetcha

Michelle

and Steph

. The ride was I don’t know how short.. we were too busy chatting..

We were greeted by Ms Roche and a nice banner (yay!) and a sumptuous breakfast! (double yay!)

Then we proceed on the orientation and some introduction (a fun kind of hello my name is) facilitated by Ms Patricia Hizon (yes the wife of Vince Hizon)

Then a small talk (more to that later) and the tour! We were given a scrub each with our name on it (yay!) and we’re instructed on how to properly enter the plant. From this point, I can see the safety precautions they observe to ensure that their plant will not be contaminated. We wore the scrub suit and plastics for our shoes and shower caps. And before that, we were asked to wash our hands, thoroughly, may I add.

Personally, I was awed by how high tech the plant is. And along the way, I am amazed at how they give utmost care to waste disposal and their concern on the environment. And of course, their strict quality control is more than what I expected. With that, I am more proud to say that the meds my kids take is UNILAB YAN!

After the tour, we headed to Nuvali for a lunch treat at Conti’s Pastry Shop And Restaurant

So what comes next to stomach indulgence? comes mind, body and soul indulgence from Indulgence Day Spa (click here for their price range

Walking Aide Hunt

Sati is 9 months old already and now starting to stand alone for a while.. pretty soon, she will try to walk by herself.

Being a discerning mom, walker is not for me. I knew for a fact that the number source of accidents in infants are walker related.. so there.

Walking aides is what I used. For my first born son, his walking aide was the laundry bin or a plastic chair LOL. As for my second child, his aide was the one in the photo.. and then I lend it to my sister (the new owner of Freebies Overload.. go follow the blog) and then some parts were lost along the way. So for Chico, we have to look for the same toy but we can’t find any..

Now with Sati.. am asking everyone here if you happen to know where I can buy this.. I can’t find any in my local store (but I haven’t searched for it in SM or any other big stores). There’s nothing in Amazon or Diapers.com..

This one is from TOMY.. I hope Ninang Seiko can find one in Japan (Tomy comes from Japan right?)

Oh I badly want this walking aide for her.
