Vice Ganda Takes Off Makeup For A Fan

Hindi ako showbiz, alam nyo yan.. and I have no intention to turn this blog into a showbiz blog. But today, I’ll make an exception because this kind of things must be shared.

Ang Mahiwagang Black Box ng ABS CBN

Sooo my mahiwagang black box came in today! Yippe! I managed to set it up in less than 10 minutes! Ang dali dali lang promise. The next thing to do is see if it can deliver and I’m impressed! My TV is sooo linaw! It’s Showtime is sooo linaw! And very timely, there was this fan complaining to Vice Ganda how people were bullying her and saying names to make her feel bad.

As expected, Vice made the girl feel better through words of wisdom.. Vice mentioned about loving one’s self and accepting who your are. Vice even goes as far as encouraging the girl to love herself by saying “Maitim ako” “Pango ako“.

But what surprised the audience and even me was when Vice asked for wet wipes and takes off his makeup. WHOA!

Vice Takes Off Make Up On TV

How can you not respect someone doing that? On national TV?

Then Vice encourage the viewers to do the same and post it on Instagram with the #proudtobeme

In less than an hour, there’s an overwhelming response from his fans!

Clap! Clap! Clap! for Vice Ganda! You really win my heart (and obviously my blog) on this one!

If I remembered it right, Vice even mentioned on making yourself pretty/ beautiful or improving one’s appearance not for anyone else but for yourself. Sabi nga nya (nv) “Nagpapaganda ako dahil karapatan kong gumand.”

Becuase Letting Go IS Really Hard

I would like to think that I am on stage 2 of being a mother. I passed stage 1 with flying colors! Yippeee! Uhmm maybe.. OK I indulged a bit on toys.

Stage 1, for me, starts with the moment I found I am pregnant and it goes on until today. I realized, mt kids are are all grown up, uhmm that I no longer have a toddler in the house. Sati will be 6 this year and by next year, she’ll be in elementary! sniff..sniff.. sniff.

And during those times, I bought so many educational toys aka bricks. I had a fixation with Mega Bloks.. because their biggest size, which they call Maxi is very appropriate for toddlers. I hoard! OK that’s an understatement, this is how much Mega Bloks bricks we have:

That’s just the bricks.. not to mention other Mega Bloks toys such as castle, cars, people, tracks, little cars.. etc.. etc..

I know I can’t bring all those to our new house, specially that the kids have no use for it anymore… as I have said, were now in Stage 2 of parenting. Which for me, means more expensive toys but less bulky toys. They’re now asking for Nerf and Lego bricks while Sati loves anything Barbie. See the transition from Stage 1 to Stage 2?

The burning question: What to do with these toys?!?

It would be easier to just dispose them by handing them to the garbage collector no? BUT IT’S NOT THAT EASY! THESE ARE MY TOYS! Imagine me trying to hand a black garbage bag to a garbage collector and suddenly screams I JUST CAN’T and runs away with the toys. What a sight no?

Letting go is really really HARD! I just don’t what to regret this move 20 years or more from now. Haaaaaays

Selling is not part of the menu.. it’s either I donate it or try to squeeze it in our new house…

I CAN’T BREATHE… I NEED MORE TIME.

5 Shopping Tips For #SMLadiesNight

SM Ladies Night is happening again this Wednesday! It will be in SM North EDSA this time!

Are you ready? But before you start listing what you’ll be getting, let me give you some useful tips. From 6 PM to 9 PM Great Selections from SM Woman, GTW by SM, Coco Cabana Swimwear and SM Woman Active will be 50% off. That’s a lot of clothes in 3 hours! And for sure, you’re not the only who’ll join this event.. it would be a chaos as soon as the clock strikes 6! Don’t you want to make the best out of this shopping trip? Here’s my 5 Shopping Tips based on my experience last SM Ladies Night.

1. List what you want to buy.

A swimsuit from Coco Cabana? Running shorts from SM Woman Active? Or maybe an office attire or casual wear from SM Woman? How about a pretty dress from GTW by SM? During the first SM Ladies Night, I do not know what to get, I just focused on swimwear and active wear. Look at my haul (I only paid 2500 for all these), most are active wear and swimwear!

It was worth it but I forgot I need some casual tops!

2. Be there early.

The sale event starts at 6 PM but who says you can’t start shopping as soon as SM North EDSA opens? OA naman sa aga no? Seriously, the lines, specially at the fitting room can be challenging. And the lines at the cashier can be really stressful. Unahan mo silang lahat! Magsukat ka na at magshopping habang maaaga pa.. para pagdating ng 6 PM, ready to pay ka na lang.

3. Bring Your SM Ecobags

We are responsible shoppers right? Don’t forget to bring at least 3 ecobags on your shopping trip!

4. Don’t Forget You SM Advantage Card!

Sayang ang reward points!

5. Bring a friend

Shopping is more fun if you’re with a friend. And if tip number 2 fails, you can at least rely on each other to fall in line while the other one shops.

After shopping, don’t forget to share your haul on your social media accounts and use #SMLadiesNight! Tag me and tell me if my tips are useful 🙂 GOOD LUCK!!
