Yellow Cab Pizza For My Brainy Boy

Before their Christmas Party, we learned that he was one of the students that will participate on MTAP* ( Math Teachers Association of the Philippines) challenge next year . I am not that familiar with MTAP but you know if it has anything to do with MATH, his dad is the proudest.. and as a treat, he got his favorite pizza! Yellow Cab’s New York Finest.

But, really it is a BIG deal for me.. during the first few months of the school year, the school invites students who are interested on attending the MTAP coaching (6 Saturdays), then on the last quarter of the year, only students with high grades on their Math subjects can join the 2nd coaching.. and then after 4 or 5 classes (coaching), they will take an exam and will determine who can join the challenge.. and he passed all those  🙂 to think he was absent twice on his classes.. yay! He really loves Math like his dad 🙂

And to celebrate this, let me give you a taste of our favorite Pizza! I will be giving away two Yellow Cab GC worth 500 PhP each. Just comment below why you love Pizza and what activity you enjoy most with Pizza 🙂

Commenting starts now and ends on December 31. I will draw winners on January 2 and will announce here. This is open to everyone as long as there’s a Yellow Cab near you 🙂 (international not included)

My mechanics is simple but I would really appreciate it if you can share this post on your wall or  Like Make or Break on Facebook and Follow PEHPOT on twitter.

*In cooperation with the Math Teachers Association of the Philippines (MTAP) and the Department of Education (DepEd), Metrobank Foundation holds the Math Challenge to develop interest in Mathematics among elementary and high school students, to inculcate important mathematical concepts and proficiencies, and to further improve the mathematical skills of Filipinos. Substantial cash prizes and trophies await both contestants and coaches in this event. source

====================edit: January 4, 2012====================

Congratulations to our winners!

Please PM me your shipping address so I can send your GC 🙂

Stay tuned for more giveaways!

“On Dec 17th, 2011, typhoon Sendong(Washi) dropped over 180mm of rain in less than 24 hours and caused severe flash flooding to the Northern Mindanao region of the Philippines.  The cities of Iligan and Cagayan de Oro City were hit the worse and the area has suffered severe damage and human loss.  436 people have been claimed dead, hundreds more are missing, and nearly 100,000 filipinos have been displaced after the flood waters destroyed everything in it’s path during the late hours of the night.  The city’s power & water supplies were shut down for nearly 24 hours and many filipinos need your help.”–http://www.sendongrelief.org/

Events Overload

It’s funny how some people would say I attend a lot of events or that I have events here and there when in fact I don’t breathe events. I admit I really do enjoy attending one but I am not the type of blogger who will jump to every events they can get.. I am still a mother above all this.. so I choose what events I attend to..

I usually don’t do events in far far away land.. not unless a service will be provided.. I don’t do late night events.. as much as possible, I say no to weekend events and I don’t do events that are tobacco or alcohol related. I am choosy, yes I am.. so I just don’t get it why some people would say madami akong events.. last time I checked, this blog is still a mommy/parenting blog (though there will come a time that I will post about engagement ring designers.. this is still a mommy blog).. not an events blog

I am not against people who breathe events… it’s their choice and I am sure most of them are not a mom like me who needs to take care of the kids and run a household.
