Modern Baby Products For Baby Marius

Everything feels like it’s the first with Baby Marius. Sofi is already 7 when we have Marius so it feels like I am starting over again! Specially when it comes to baby products. I am sooo out of the loop! Good thing, I was introduced to Born Philippines. It’s an online shop that offers modern baby products.

When it says modern baby products, what comes into your mind? Modern means state of the art or up to date, kinda something like new or a trendsetter. For me, modern baby products means functional and is designed to be used by moms who wants to make the most out of their time.

From the products that was given to Baby Marius, my top 3 favorites are the following:

Wabitoys because it’s amazing. Watch the video above to see how it expands to a toy when soaked in water. I adore this toy because it’s small and can be easily stored when the kids are done with it. I am not a fan of big stuff toys because it accumulates dust, Wabitoys are just perfect. Wabitoys is available in 5 cool designs

Baby Cubes is just perfect for storing Marius food. He loves cauliflower so when we cook mixed veggies, I always make sure there’s some left for him. He also loves squash and sweet potato. I love that the cubes are small and comes with a tray and it is microwave safe.

The Ooga Silicone Mealtime Set is Marius’ favorite! He loves the spoon most specially. You can see naman why di ba? If Marius loves it, mommy loves it too!

Aside from the products on our video, Born Philippines also offers the following:

  • Designer Diaper bag and changing pads
  • Feeding Bottles (very hungry feeding bottles and not so hungry feeding bottles)
  • Baby Neck Pillow
  • Baby Bottle Holder and Pacifier holder
  • Silicone Mats, silicone bowl, and silicone spoons

12 Reasons Why We Love Belo Baby + Belo Baby Giveaway

Belo Baby just turned ONE YEAR OLD! That is a huge milestone. We have been using Belo Baby since day 1 of its launching (Read: Belo Baby Launching with Mommy Bloggers) so I am celebrating too as it turns one year old. And you all know Baby Marius celebrated his first birthday last February. It feels like Belo Baby grew up with my Baby Marius.

Twelve months of using Belo Baby and I have nothing but praises for their products. I specially love the hair&body wash and face&body lotion. And celebration of Belo Baby’s first 12 months on the market, let me tell you 12 reasons why we super duper love this brand!

12 Reasons Why We Love Belo Baby (12 because #BeloBabyTurnsOne)

1. Belo Baby is dermatology tested which makes it very safe to use of babies. I started using it when Marius was just 6  weeks old. He is now and still using, and I can see no wrong on his skin. In fact, out of all my kids (at that age) his skin’s the best.

Marius using Belo Baby now that he is one year old.

2. Belo Baby is hypo allergenic which means it is less likely to cause an allergic reaction, which again, makes it very safe to use for babies.

3. Belo Baby is tear-free. It is very gentle and less likely to cause eye irritation on the baby. I knew that because I have been using it for a year now and Marius never complained!

4. Belo Baby is made of 100% certified natural ingredients and 0% harmful chemicals.

5. Belo Baby is relatively cheap considering that the ingredients are all natural. Belo Baby Wash is only 220 Pesos while the lotion is only 225 pesos and soap is just 79.75.

6. Belo Baby is widely available. I do my grocery in 5 different supermarkets and I can always find Belo Baby in those supermarkets.

7. The packaging is really nice and doesn’t look cheap. The packaging is a good test if much care has been put in developing the product. Sa packaging pa lang, alam mo na that Belo Baby is crafted with care for the most delicate skin, for the most meticulous moms.

8. Belo Baby is great as gifts. And because the packaging is nice, it is great for gifts. In some cases, it comes in bundle in a carefully curated box, you don’t even have to gift wrap it!

9. Belo Baby smell is really good. I super duper love the smell specially the lotion. It’s not to strong but just right. I love putting lotion to Baby Marius and smells him all day (or almost). He usually takes a bath around 10 AM and he still smells good at 5 PM.

10. Belo Baby is non drying. Dryness is in my genes. Most of my kids have dry skin and it is only now that I realized the importance of choosing the right baby product to prevent it. His skin is fine and softer when applied with Belo Baby Lotion.

11. Belo Baby endorser is super duper OMG cute! Scarlet Snow is so adorable, she makes me want to have another baby girl (opps! haha). Seriously, she is the perfect endorser for their products. And stalking Belo Baby Instagram is super worth it. Check them out @BeloBabyLove

Baby Company Grand Baby Fair 2016 Shopping Experience

My excitement over the Baby Company Grand Baby Fair 2016 has been very very obvious on all my social media accounts. I have been looking forward to this fair ever since I’ve learned about it. I can’t wait to shop for my baby boy! As I have mentioned before, this is my first time attending this event as an expectant mom shopper.

Baby Company Grand Baby Fair 2016

Baby Company Grand Baby Fair 2016

Here are the few things on my shopping list right now (praying I won’t go over the budget teeheee):

  • Wooden Crib (white or brown) > got a dark brown for 5200 PhP
  • Bedding Set for the wooden crib > set with bumpers for 2000 PhP
  • Bed sheet for bedside crib > included in the bedding set
  • mittens and booties (white, 6 pairs each) > NONE
  • white long sleeves tie side > got 6 from Ainon/ Smart Baby
  • rubber sheet > NONE
  • baby towel/ receiving blanket x2> NONE
  • bath essentials (basin) > got one from Safety 1st at 2000 PhP
  • Mustela for my stretchmarks> NONE
  • Nursing Bra> NONE (too pricey!)
  • Ring Sling> NONE (few design from Next9)

I felt like Bianca Gonazalez- Intal last Friday. After the media launch of the New Ariel Power Gel, she was there at the Baby Company Grand Baby Sale too!

Bianca Gonzalez Intal Baby Company

Bianca Gonzalez- Intal shared the 10 things she learned about pregnancy such as skin care and why raw food is not a preggy mom’s food. Expectant moms cannot consume some of the medicines that is intended to treat gastro related complication.. it is not safe for the baby. So as much as possible, stay away from raw food to lower the risk of gastro related complications.

Now, to my shopping adventure!

shopping for baby Marius and covering for Mommy Bloggers Philippines

Can I just say that this is the most hassle, stressful shopping experience I had in my life?!? I have been covering this baby fair for years and I usually go there during the preview (Thursday) and it was my first time to shop (and at the same time cover for Mommy Blogger Philippines). It was jam-packed! So many preggy moms! So many shoppers! The Baby Company Grand Baby Fair 2016 feels like a Hunger Games edition! haha

But it was worth it! And good thing I had my helper with me so I didn’t even have to fall in line. Another plus point is Wilkins are everywhere for thirsty shoppers and the restroom is near! I wish there more chairs though, specially at the cashier area so that pregnant shoppers can rest from time to time. Speaking of cashier, there’s a lot! The line is loong but moves quickly! The line can be bothersome to some shoppers though.

Here are some of the things I bought:

I got this crib for 5200 PhP from 8500 PhP! And the bedding for the crib is at 20% off. The set includes 2 bolster, 1 pillow, 1 comforter and bumpers for 2000 PhP.

One of the highlights of my Baby Company Grand Baby Fair 2016 shopping experience is meeting Maricel of The Parenting Emporium:

The Parenting Emporium is a retail social enterprise that has only one aim: to help make the parenting journey easier for you. For all your parenting journey needs, you can contact TPE at (02) 7253723 / 7386272 / 0917-5614366 or check out their FB Page (The Parenting Emporium Facebook Page). I got my Blanqi Maternity Underbust Support Tank Top from TPE. It’s a must buy when you’re pregnant. The Blanqi is really serious when it comes to support. I wouldn’t be able to shop, stand, walk that long if not for the Blanqi I was wearing last Friday.

One of my fave baby brand is also there:

Ainon carries Smart Babies, one of the most affordable baby clothing brand.

And speaking of clothes, look what I got for baby:

This is not on the list buuuut it was on sale! 3 for 299 PhP only! How can I resist?!

Compared to the last fairs I attended, there were lesser baby clothes brand this year.. more diaper brands, and a lot infant gears brand (stroller, car seat, crib, so many brands to choose from!) Sadly, Pampers did not participate  in this year fair.

This bath center from Safety 1st is the blockbuster of all bath basin for babies! I got this for 2000 PhP (regular price is around 2500 if I am not mistaken). I was looking for a small basin for bathing and this one fits perfectly with my size requirement!

See, it was really worth it!
