This week’s theme is First Picture of Your Kids.

This is Chico, hours after I gave birth to him. He is still on the metal crib when I took this photo. The nurse said he still needs to be exposed to light to prevent jaundice. I, on the other hand, was so excited to hold him and nurse him. Feels like heaven, so overwhelming.

note: Although I would want to post first pictures of my two other kids, the problem is, we have no digital camera back then. Their first photos are stacked somewhere on my crafts box..

Chico is 8 months old

January 10. Happy 8 months old Chico!

Chico is our third baby. We never planned on having another baby soon. We also want a baby girl when we found out I was pregnant with him. When we learned he was a boy, there was a bit disappointment (I’d be a hypocrite if said none). Eight months since my screams (and i could still vividly recall everything about it) , here he is now. Cheerful and full of love. And we love him just the way he is.
