She Is Growing Really Fast

Sati is growing up really fast. Most of her dress are above her knee already, and most of her house dress can no be classified as a house blouse. Good thing that most of girls clothes I bought for her are garterized. Even if she outgrew her clothes, it would still fit her.

It would still take more time before we bought new set of clothes for her, maybe next year or on her 2nd birthday. OH! I’m talking about her 2nd birthday! Time flies so quickly, I can still remember how emotional I was knowing I’ll be having a baby girl.. now she’s a big girl already, who really nows what she wants and how to get it.

When it comes to clothes, she likes colorful prints, more flowers, the better. She also like Hello Kitty, so we’re planning to buy more Hello Kitty clothes for her. Her Ninang Seiko gave her Hello Kitty play shirts and she really appreciate the shirt. That’s one of her favorites, aside from the many clothes that her Ninangs gave her, and she knows which is which (the one from her ninang and the one from us).

Zoobles Surprise!

My sister was the one who introduced us to Richwell. No, she’s not working there, it just so happens that she got to know their store in Market Market and the numerous Barbie that went on sale back then. Other sale items we’re Hot Wheels and Mega Blocs, so just imagine how happy I was when I learned about their warehouse sale in Libis. Since then (that was in 2006), we have been going there every year (2-3 times). I have hoard (yes that term exactly) Hot Wheels, Chicco Toys and Mega Blocs from their warehouse sale every year.

When I was asked to review a product from them, I was ecstatic! May I present to you, ZOOBLES!

Jaffa was sent to us to surprise us an dbring fun to the kids.. moms and kids, please meet Jaffa:

From the looks of it, Zoobles are for girls and as describe in the box, it is for 4+ years old. But even so, I still handed it to my one year old girl, who was thrilled to see a “ball” and was more surprised when the ball comes in to life! Her reaction was priceless… of course, we never let her play with it alone.

My boy’s initial reaction was “ ay parang Bakugan!‘ (and as stated in the Press Release above, Zoobles and Bakugan came from the same toy manufacturer). They were also surprised that upside down, the toy won’t fall. That led to lengthy discussion about magnet.. so yes, aside from fascinating, this toy can be educational too.

I can’t wait for Sati to grow up so we can start collecting Zoobles, 150 balls would be so much fun!

Primary Complex Symptoms: Signs That Your Kids Are Suffering From Primary Complex

Primary Complex is a form of Tuberculosis in children. If the kids are exposed to an adult with a Tuberculosis, they might be infected too. Primary Complex is not contagious among children. A child diagnosed with PC can still play and socialize with other kids.

The number one sign is weight loss or the kid not gaining weight. You have tried every weight gaining technique. Tried all the pampagana meds and even tried Heraclene but to no avail.
Coughs that is recurrent is another sign and no amount of Antibiotics can put that cough away.
Some says that fever at night is another sign.
Some says that irritability and crying for no reason most of the time is another sign.
Another sign of PC is the kids having trouble sleeping or waking up in the middle of the night.
It is very important that you always observe your kids. Keep track of their weight and activity. And if after 6 months and they are still not gaining weight, it’s about time that you discuss it with your Pediatrician.
