Travel Focus: the Holy Land

Who isn’t fascinated with visiting the Holy Land ? History would tell us that both Christians and Muslims would love to go there. Both look forward to go on a pilgrimage tour there, but with a different focus.
For Christians, the desire to go there is primarily motivated by the desire to walk on the places where Jesus Christ and other Biblical characters or saints have walked on. These would include: Golgotha (or Calvary), the city of Bethlehem, Sea of Galilee, Mount Tabor (the site of the Transfiguration of Jesus), Jacob’s well in Nablus (said to be the site where Jesus had an encounter with a Samaritan woman). These are just but part of a list. As for Muslims, Jerusalem (along with Mecca and Medina ) is considered a holy site in Sunni Islamic tradition. According to Islamic traditions, their prophets are associated with Jerusalem including Muhammad, the Islamic prophet.
One good news about going on a tour to the Holy Land these days is that travellers there can now have the option of staying in Luxury Apartments Tel aviv. This is especially great for families and even couples travelling there together for the first time.
If you wish to check out more information about these Tel Aviv luxury apartments available in the Holy Land , one can also do online. While there are also hotels to choose from, you may just opt for the more familiar feeling of having your own apartment while touring the place. It’s like having a home away from home.
So if you’re up for a trip to the Holy Land , get yourself and your loved ones ready. Prepare the budget; book the flights and the apartment (you may choose to do this with a travel agency). Enjoy experiencing the Holy Land while you are there. And come back refreshed, changed J

Travel Plans For 2012

It has been years since we last travel. Travel to us means going to our favorite beach destination. The last time we did was in 2009, then I became pregnant with the little girl. So many things happened after that and long travel was not on our priority list. Occasionally, we would have short trips, to Tagaytay most of the times but never as far as La Union or even Nueva Ecija.

2009 La Union

This year, I think we will be including travel in our to do list. I have read great review of hotels in Majorca I don’t think we can go there this year. We are going to take it one slow step at a time. Maybe one travel this year that includes plain ride (thank goodness for seat sales, I was able to book a very cheap flight) and 2 or more road travel, long road travel.

Of course Magaluf hotel reviews from Majorcan holidays .co.uk  was bookmarked for future reference. I want my kids to experiencing travelling out of the country and discovering great places all over the world. But before we can do that, we have to discover first the beautiful places in our country.

Increasing your car mileage

Fuel seems to be getting more expensive by the minute, which has given motorists reason to accept the inevitability of paying more at the pumps, or so it would seem. At a time when car owners are faced with having to tighten the purse strings, it might seem impossible to save money on fuel when the price seems to be rising ever higher, but you can save the amount of petrol or diesel you use for your car simply by changing the way your drive. It’s as simple as performing a vehicle check with Auto Trader.

The first thing you could look at is how fast your drive. It’s a well-known fact that the faster you drive, the more fuel you use. Simply by slowing down a little while driving up and down a motorway or dual carriageway by around 10mph on long journeys, the fuel that’s currently in your tank could last a little longer.

Another thing you could look at is trying to look for shorter routes to regular destinations. If there are some available, it might be worth considering going that way instead of the one you presently use. Providing those short-cuts are legal, they help you to save fuel as well as time.

Something else you should do to conserve fuel is look at all the short journeys you take which last about two or three minutes. If you decided to walk instead, it will save you a lot of fuel in the long run. Driving sensibly is the best thing you can do to cut down of your petrol bills and doing so will make life a little bit easier.
