When molds have already started appearing, the first step is to remove them completely. Here are simple home solutions you can try and make sure that you are wearing a mask when you do these:

  1. Use white vinegar mixed with water. Spray directly on affected areas like wooden furniture, fabric surfaces, or walls. Let it sit for 30 minutes before wiping clean with a dry cloth.

  3. For wooden surfaces, avoid using too much water. Use a damp cloth with vinegar and wipe gently. Dry it thoroughly after cleaning.

  4. After cleaning, always let the area air dry. Use fans or open windows to improve airflow. The drier the surface, the lower the chance of mold growing back.
