Last Call!!!

Tomorrow our contest will officially end. Let me just remind all of you that in order to qualify you have to post about our blog and copy the codes of our major sponsors. Calling all those who referred the list below, they are still not qualified so if you value the plus 50 points please tell them to do the second requirement.

March 19: Announcement of winners of the raffle draw. Remember? Post the contest in your other blogs and we will raffle off 3 winners of $5. If you have ten blogs post it in your ten blogs and you will have ten raffle entries.CLICK HERE if you are not familiar with it. ONly those who posted it on tehir other blogs are qualified.

March 22: Announcement of winners of Best Post about the contest and best blog review of Make or Break and Random WAHM Thoughts

March 25: Big Winners Day. Announcement of the 1st to 4th prize and lucky winners of $20

Just a reminder guys, if you are one of the winners, please, DO NOT comment your paypal and DO NOT flood us with comments about you winning and all. You will have to email me your paypal address.

Another Observation

Our contest is about to end and we have so much to share with you regarding our contest. I might even publish a lot of articles about it (watch for it on NOOB). We learned so much from our mistakes and from our contestants. When our contest started we were anxious that we would not meet our goal. We promised our sponsors that we will have 50 and more participants. That is why we continue to change our mechanics, not for page impression but for our sponsors. We even thought of using direct mail marketing to promote our contest. Yes, I thought of printing out brochures and post card and bring it on an event and have other bloggers know about our contest. That is how serious we are on keeping our promise.

Now that the end is nearing, I am happy with the outcome, though it was not as we planned, I think everybody was pleased with the mechanics and its changes. Next week, for sure, a lot of you will have a difficult time waiting for the result. You know that we have 4 winners ($200, $100, $50 and $30) coming from the top points earner and we are going to raffle off 5 $20. If you have won any on the four major prizes, you can no longer win on the raffle. And for my side contest (where you can win $5 for reviewing my other blogs),you can win more than once. Lastly, if ever you are one of our winners, please do not bombard us with emails and comments giving us your paypal. We will ask you to email your paypal to me once. Give us at least a week before we give your prizes, things need to be sort out and of course, we have to leave some rooms for dispute.

Contest Observations

Now that the end is in sight, we are already finalizing the contest points so that after the contest closes (March 18), all we need to do is add the points for comments on our blogs. However, while tallying, here’s a couple of things we observed from new participants and the referrals system:

The referrals do not acknowledge their referrer at THIS PAGE. Non-acknowledgment means that we will NOT count them as your referrals, EVEN IF they completed the requirements of the contest. So please, if you are actively referring people, follow-up to see if they have commented the URL of their post about the contest HERE and the URL of their post about the major sponsors HERE AND have acknowledged you as their referrer. It’s your duty to follow-up those you refer because you will be the one earning the points.
Some participants do not follow the requirements. We asked that you post about the contest and the major sponsors’ links in TWO separate posts. You won’t qualify unless you follow the rules to a T. That’s why we have rules. And that’s why we have already made this as easy as it is humanly possible. We don’t think any more spoon-feeding can be done.
