We’re sorry we posted it just now. But to make up for it, we decided to have these people’s links for THREE whole months on our sidebars instead of just one! Again, please note that Kaye only checked the respective post pages with the contest requirements, so any URL that wasn’t commented on those pages will not be counted. We don’t want to spend the whole day searching through my archives and Kaye’s to find where you commented those URLS, thus that rule. Didn’t see your name on the list? Don’t worry. We have another chance for you. The NEXT TEN PEOPLE to complete the requirements will each get TWO months of advertising space (text links) on the sidebars of Kaye’s PR2 blog WAHMaholic and this PR3 blog, Make or Break. We already took note of those who were able to complete the requirements but wasn’t able to join the first twenty people (you know who you are), and there are still a lot of slots in the NEXT TEN, so submit your entries now! Several people have posted about our contest on multiple blogs that they own. So, as another motivation to spread the word about the contest, Kaye and I decided that we will have a random drawing. Of what? Of all the posts about the contest by people who are already qualified to join. So here’s the deal. If you already fulfilled the requirements to join , you can make a post about the contest on ALL the blogs that you own, and every post will count as ONE raffle entry. So if you have ten blogs and you posted about our contest on all those blogs, you instantly have TEN raffle entries. Random.org will choose three people and will win $5 each. Naturally, the more blogs you post to, the better your chances of winning. The drawing will take place on March 1, and all posts prior to that date will be counted. So POST ABOUT OUR CONTEST in ALL your blogs, and get the chance to win $5. Remember, you HAVE to be an official contestant already before you qualify for the random drawing! Also, ONLY ONE ENTRY per blog will be accepted. So even if you make multiple posts about the contest in a SINGLE blog, that will only be counted as ONE entry. Our aim is to spread the word about the contest to as many people as possible, thus the rule. Don’t worry, we have made the requirements easier for those who have not joined yet 😉

As promised, below are the TOP TEN HIGHEST POINTERS of the contest so far. These do not include the points for comments on my blog and Kaye’s, as well as comments on the major sponsors’ blogs. We will include them in the final tallying of points (excitement effect. LOL), so these points are only those that came from the mechanics pages. Are you intimidated by their scores? LOL! Don’t be. It’s still far away from contest end. And let me explain why such high scores. We gave an extra FOUR HUNDRED (400) POINTS for those who completed the reviews of the four major sponsors, ASIDE from giving extra benefits to those who finished completing the requirements early. Why the whopping extra points? Because:

Starting today, we are changing one of the contest requirements. The review of the four major sponsors will NOT be a requirement anymore, so that’s yay for everyone who’s reason for not joining is that they cannot make a blog review or do not have the time to earn that top spot for the $200. BUT, we will STILL REQUIRE that you post a separate entry with the links of the four major sponsors (codes are already provided. OMG, this is sooo getting lazy-friendly. LOL). We came to this decision because more than we’d like to motivate you to practice your blog reviewing skills for future writing opportunities, we want to keep our promise to our beloved sponsors to give them at least 150 backlinks each for the duration of the contest. So there.

As a recognition to those who were forced (hee hee) to make a review of the major sponsors in the original rules, we are giving them an extra 400 points for their effort. Not bad eh? We hope this move entices more people to join the contest. If not, then… We’ll just think of other ways to encourage people join. LOL. You know me and Kaye. We ALWAYS find a way 😉
