POTW: Product of the week*

Last Sunday, after our morning jog, I suddenly had the urge to clean the walls. I remembered that we were given Scotch Brite Easy Erasing Pad sample and that day was the perfect day to test it.

Scoth Brite Easy Erasing Pad removes dirt from the wall without the use of water. It can remove crayon and marker as well as tape markings. Our wall looks like this before we start using the pad:

Tell me you can’t see any markings in there.. LOL seriously, those are tape markings. We love decorating our wall with ABC’s and reviewers. It’s an eyesore.. and here it is after a few minutes of “erasing” the marks with Scotch Brite Easy Erasing Pad:

What I love most about this product and the reason why I am sharing it to you is the fact that I don’t need water to achieve this kind of clean. With my old wall cleaning agent, I had to use 2 or 3 pails of water. It will take me an hour just to clean the wall and another hour to clean the mess I created from cleaning the wall and I hate it. Scotch Brite Easy Erasing Pad shortens my cleaning time by more than half! and the mess by almost 80%! now that’s what I call cleaning.

As you can see in the photo, the pad has two sides, the blue and the white. The white is the side for cleaning and the blue is your handle. Use it by rinsing the pad on tap water then squeeze it to drain the water. Be careful not to touch the white part as it can cause a slight burning on your hands (trust me). Use the sponge to erase marks and drawings on your wall by scrubbing it with the white side. You will notice that as the marks fade, the white side is consumed. Throw the pad away when the white part is all gone.

I sill have to check how much Scotch Brite Easy Erasing Pad cost but judging the result I got, I have to say it is worth the money.

I cook, I do the laundry, I fold our clothes, I mop the floor, I clean the bathroom.. I scrub the walls.. I can do a,most every household chores, except for two.. Ironing, because it takes a lot of time and I cannot multitask while doing so and washing the dishes because it kills my hand. I don’t know.. there is something about the dish washing soap that makes my hand itch. So here, it is my sister, Nina’s task to wash the dishes. Lately though, she learned that she’s developing a housewife’s eczema.. not sure with the term but that’s how Mae of Adobong Pinoy describe it.. It’s an eczema brought about frequent hand washing, washing the dishes included. I have to help her with washing the dishes but as soon as I start doing so, my hands complain.. we have been planning to buy a gloves but even before we did, we got some from Scotch-Brite. Let me tell you first how glad and overwhelmed I was, when we got Scotch-Brite as one of our sponsor. I mean, we all know about Scotch- Brite, in fact for a lot of people, it is a general term for cleaning tool such as sponge and stainless steel cleaner. I haven’t tried all the products yet.. but I already tried Scotch-Brite Kitchen Gloves, Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Bathroom Scrub Sponge and Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Antibacterial Scrub Sponge.

We’re using the Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Antibacterial Scrub Sponge in washing the dishes as well as the Kitchen Gloves. I tried Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Bathroom Scrub Sponge for the rubber mat that we used in their play area..and I’ll just let the photo do the talking:

See the difference? and I’m not even putting much effort while scrubbing.. I still have to try this on our bathroom walls. I am also excited to try the Scotch-Brite Easy Erasing Pad on our wall.. oh well, let’s wait until the cleaning fairy waves her wand on me 🙂
