The Military Diet 3 Day Menu Plan

Military Diet Menu (3 Days Diet)

The Military 3 Day diet is the fastest way to lose pounds in 3 days. The Military Diet Menu is the strict menu for this diet to work out. From the Military Diet Website, it mentions losing up to 10 lbs in a week. The diet plan is effective because it is a low calorie diet plan.

The Military Diet Day 1 Menu Plan

Day 1 Breakfast

  • 1 cup of coffee (no sugar, no creamer, caffeinated)
  • 1 slice of whole wheat toast with 2 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1/2 grape fruit (I think Pomelo is a good substitute, try 2 slice)

Day 1 Lunch 

  • 1 cup of coffee (no sugar, no creamer, caffeinated)
  • 1 slice of whole wheat toast
  • 1/2 cup of tuna

Day 1 Dinner 

  • 3 ounces of any meat (I used chicken meat)
  • 1 cup green beans
  • 1/2 banana and 1 plum
  • 1 cup vanilla  ice cream

The Military Diet Day 2 Menu Plan

Day 2 Breakfast

  • 1 egg cooked (any way you like it, I got mine scrambled, no oil, no salt)
  • 1 slice of whole wheat toast
  • 1/2 banana

Day 2 Lunch

  • 1 hard boiled egg
  • 5 saline crackers
  • 1 cup cottage cheese (but I can’t find any cottage cheese so I just replaced it with a slice of cheddar cheese)

Day 2 Dinner

  • 1/2 cup carrots
  • 1 cup broccoli
  • 2 hot dogs (I can only eat one!)
  • 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream

The Military Diet Day 3 Menu Plan

Day 3 Breakfast

  • 1 slice of cheddar
  • 1 small plum
  • 5 saline crackers

Day 3 Lunch

  • 1 egg cooked (anyway you liked it, mine was hard boiled)
  • 1 slice toast (whole wheat)

Day 3 Dinner

  • 1 cup tuna
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream

TIP! TIP! TIP! To make your ice cream nights taste a lot better, microwave the fruits included on the menu for that time and mix it with vanilla ice cream! 

 

THE VERDICT

I lost 3 pounds in 3 days!

WARNING: You can’t do any physically exhausting activity while on diet and you need to take a 4 day rest after the 3 day diet. 

Obviously, it is effective when it comes to weight loss. Imagine if I did the diet in a month with a 4 day interval, I can lose  to 12 pounds in a month!

WHY I STOPPED DOING THE MILITARY DIET?

It is effective in a short period of time but in the long run it can ruin my metabolism. The diet is a low calorie diet and it does not boost my metabolism. With my age, my main problem is slower metabolism. I need a diet that can speed up my metabolism and so far, the most effective diet on doing that is eating a complete meal every 4 hours.

WHAT IS A COMPLETE MEAL?

A complete meal, as discussed to us by well known Nutritionists Nadine Tengco should be in this proportion:

  • 1/2 veggies
  • 1/4 protein
  • 1/4 carbo.

HOW TO LOSE WEIGHT EFFECTIVELY?

  • Eat a complete meal every 4 hours
  • Exercise (Metafit is the fastest fat burning exercise, imagine losing as much as 600 calories in just 4 minutes)
  • Drink psyllium fiber once everyday

 

With these 3 simple steps, who needs a Military Diet to lose weight?!? Go ahead and give the Military diet a try and then give the complete meal diet a try too and see the difference.

    My family plans to start a diet on Monday. We are planning lots of lean protein and fresh veggies. The Military diet does sound like a way to lose way quickly.

    Wow, very interesting. I knew that being a grazer was probably a good thing bcause my metabolism is going all the time, but I eat small portions so it keeps the tummy small and the metabolism going. Didn’t know about the four hour thing.

    I’ve never ever heard of this diet…and I thought I had heard about all of them!! This doesn’t look like a lot of food (so I can see how you would lose weight quickly!).

    This is the first I’ve heard of this diet. It surprisingly looks filling and really healthy, which a lot of diets aren’t. I’m not sure my family would be on board but it’s definitely something I want to learn more about.

    As long as it works for you and helps you be healthy I guess it’s a good plan. I think I would rather focus more on the exercise side of the calorie ledger – I would be so grumpy on that few calories. People would run from me.

    This Military diet sounds interesting indeed and I may have to try it. At my age I too have a low metabolism but I would be willing to try this diet for a month at least. Thanks for sharing the diet and great job on the weight loss.

    Hey 3 lbs in 3 days is pretty good!
    I am with you on needing something to speed up my metabolism. If I can get myself in routine and actually do what I need to I know that I can lose the weight I added from all those dole whips and churos!

    Interesting!!! I’ve never heard of the military diet! Everything actually looks edible to me, which is huge since a lot of diets have crazy foods I would never touch lol.
