Blood, Urine And Vomit (HRZ Kit For Primary Complex)

This are the meds the kids have to take every morning. Looks really gross but the taste is fine. I think if there is someone who is about to give up, that would be me. It’s too much work, three different meds, three kids, three dosage. OUCH! The price of the meds is not that expensive contrary to what people are saying.

hrz-pedia-kit

For my three kids, about 3 bottles a month. A set is about $10 (three meds in a box, primary complex is very common here), that would be $30 a month. Two out of the three med s are suspension, has thick consistency, kinda hard for Chico to take in.

Yeah that’s how I call it, vomit, urine and blood, it does look like one eh?

hays…my son had primary complex din before. you have to be patient talaga when it comes sa mga meds. before, umiiyak yung son ko with the red med. feeling nya kasi blood talaga. i think very common talaga sa mga kids yung primary complex. whether we try our hard to prevent it or not, andun pa din yung risk. =(

Answer please…

my five year old eldest daughter was just diagnosed of Primary Complex! it’s kinda heart breaking… knowing that she might be the cause why her baby sister has pneumonia right now and have a high risk of having a PC too. Thanks for this blog… I’ve learned a lot and your comments made me feel better! I just Thank God that we have learned about this while it’s not too late. My daughter is very strong willed, I know she will overcome this. As a family we will get through this. Thanks everyone for all the sharing and thanks to the mom blogger for your wisdom! To God be the Glory!

Hello Mommy Ann, I assure you, she’s not the reason why her baby sister have pneumonia as PC is not contagious.

And yes, makakayanan ng mga babies mo yan 🙂 be strong 🙂

my son john has a history of primary complex when he was about to turn 1 year old. presently, he’s now 5 and we just had him tested (mantoux test) for primary complex by another pediatrician last tuesday, april 14 due to his cough that won’t go away with antibiotics. i kinda noticed that when the pedia inserted the needle it was done subcutaneously. (PPD is done intradermally). now, she asked us to return on thursday afternoon or friday morning for the reading of the test. i was kinda disappointed coz there are actually no signs that the test is positive. first, there are no rashes seen on the site. no induration. no redness or whatsoever. now, i’m having second thoughts if i’m going to let my kid drink the meds. he has no problem with his eating habit, he’s gaining weight but he’s skinny (taking into consideration that he’s hyperactive, he doesn’t stay in place all the time, usually runs and rarely walks). prior to his 2-week old cough, we visited his grandparents in another city just 45-min drive from ours. their place is very near the milling site so the ashes scattered everywhere. so i think that triggers and that’s where his cough started. i’m in a dilemma on what i’m going to do. we’re financially and emotionally drained already.

Keep smiling Mommy Rechelle! will include your baby in my prayers 🙂

Hello po. 2 weeks ago, after mangaling sa pedia ng 6 months old twins ko, my mom asked me their weight. As I answered her question, sabi nya why di ata nag gain for a month si baby girl and so she checked for some kulani. And ordered me na ipa check up ulit sa ibang doctor since may nakapa xang kulani.
New doc found out na meron ngang kulani and requested for PPD test and xray. For xray diagnosis –primary PTB, bilateral. And PPD test positive with 25 millimeter reaction.
Ala nmn kasi xang sipon or ubo. Ung not gaining weight, night sweats, adding the kulani ang signs nya

She’s 1 yr old. Kaka start palang nya uminom today.

I’ll check with our pedia tomorrow.

    Goodpm Ms phepot!

Nakakawala po ng takot about sa PC.

I have my 5yr old son, nadetect po ngaung araw na ito na may PC sya. But then 1 time bigla nlng sya nwalan ng gana sa pagkaen, nahirapan lumunok at sinusuka agad ang kinakain nya. Then, nakapa namen sa kanang leeg nya, malaking Kulane. Thats the time, threaten na ako dahil 2 days sya wala kinaen na kanin. But then nung pinacheckup ko sya dito sa pedia namen. Ng undergo sya ng Xray. And then na confirm may PC nga sya. 🙂

hello mommy pehpot may 1.3 month old son is diagnosed now with Pc after mag postive sa ppd test and xray said basal pneumonitis. November 2019 pa nagstart ubo nya then had him checked up by a different pedia since out of the country pedia nya sadya. My concern lng is after reading all your posts about PC, ang reseta kc ni pedia ay myrin p forte which is tablet pala for adults. Since hindi naman ako ganun ka informed sa pc, now lang after reading all your posts. Yun bang sa unilab okay talaga yung lasa? tolerable para sa baby? natatakot kasi ako dun sa tablet na pang adult according sa google not to be given to children below 13.
