The Busy Mommy

As you all know Chico will be turning 1 this coming Sunday. I am occupied with planning and worrying. There is still so much I needed to accomplish. Since last weekend, we were busy preparing. Running from mall to mall to shop for gifts, decors and cake. Then I had a slight problem with the cake. According to some Goldilocks personnel, they would not be accepting made to orders to accommodate the large demands of cake on Mother’s way (oh how sure they are?). In consideration though, we need to place an order 3 days ahead of the occasion and see if their plant would approve it. Anyway, the cake I ordered was a simple choco chiffon, no decors at all. That was already solved but I am worried with the instruction I left them. I noted on the receipt that the Happy Birthday should be written on the front base not on the top of the cake. I plan on having Thomas sit on the the top of the cake that’s why. And you know how incompetent people can be. I just hope they would not ruin Chico’s birthday.

Supermarket is my next stop. Hubby promised he’ll be home early so he can accompany me. I still have to go to Cubao for the sea foods, then to Pasig market, which is by the way, an OC heaven (I will post about it when I have time). Then there’s so much art works to do. The pinata, the banner waaah!!

By the way here’s our menu, so aside from all those things, I am also busy planning how to cook all this BY MYSELF on Sunday (yeah I will be cooking all these)

Kare Kare, Menudo, Chicken strips, Beef with Mushroom, Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet, Spaghetti (of course) and Leche Flan. Whew! Just thinking about it now makes me tired and sleepy.hoho. I am contemplating (yes I do) on which one I have to cook first (around 3 in the morning). Of the leche flan will be cooked day ahead, so I can taste it and splurge on it,yay!

If there is one thing (or two) that I am excited about, it’s Chico’s birthday, what else. I am really excited amidst all the hassles because he will be turning one! It means a lot to me. And I can’t wait to see him with his baptismal clothes. (kikay mom on the loose!)

Wow, super Mommy ka talaga! magpapaka-masokista ka na naman sa lahat ng plano na to hehe..inggit ako, Mommy kase nung bday at binyag ni Yz extra lang ako, kase ung mga oldies ang nasunod eh, wahehe! ^^ sila ung nagbuhat kay Yz nung kumakanta ng happy birthday, etc. pero ok lang. kaya ngayong bday nila, kameng 3 lang, bwahahah!tapos punta kame jan sa sunday, jan na ko mag celebrate din ng Mother's day. ahihi! ^^
