What is VASECTOMY?
Mr Wiki says: Vasectomy (or deferentectomy) is a minor surgical procedure wherein the vasa deferentia of a man are severed, and then tied or sealed in a manner such to prevent sperm from entering the seminal stream (ejaculate).
eMEd Health says: Vasectomy is a procedure in which the two tubes that carry sperm from the testicles to the urinary tract are surgically altered so sperm cannot pass through and be released to fertilize a woman’s egg during sexual intercourse. While reversible in many cases, vasectomy should be considered a permanent form of birth control.

I know relatively VASECTOMY is a lot cheaper than TUBAL LIGATION but it is not the cost that I am after. The culture here in the Philippines is very patriarchal and the thought of not being able to produce offspring can be disturbing to men. Don’t tell me about men being superficial and being shallow, we are battling a 300 or more years of tradition and culture. It takes a lot of courage to undergo vasectomy here in the country. And it takes a lot of understanding to go through life with the thought that you cannot bear children anymore. To some they view impotence as uselessness. I don’t care what my husband thinks but I am pretty sure that I don’t want him to go through VASECTOMY.
Anyway, what’s your view on this? specially the guys? Are you willing to undergo VASECTOMY?

September 9, 2009 at 4:36 pmO eh bakit naman ayaw mo siyang ipa VASEXTOMY, eh 4 kids na nga kau. Meaning he was able to produce offspring, at nagkalat na siya ng lahi. Sus..asawa ko kaya ayaw pa VASECTOMY nun eh dahil natakot sa utube video na pinadala ng friend niya. Well, iba iba naman kasi ang ating mga ideas, so.. Tata!!!!

It’s very easy to understand but with excellent details. Your choice of words makes it easy to read and understand. That’s a huge portion of writing.
