And while I was busy eating my chicken joy and burger steak at Jollibee, my sister and my helper was busy making a model out of Sati.

If my mom would see this, for sure, she would scold us for letting Sati on this position. She is now 2 months old and here are some higlights of a 2 month old baby: (from babycenter)

Saliva Baby. At this month, the baby produces more Saliva than before. Although she is not teething yet, is it a sign that her mouth is preparing the baby for solid food intakes. This is interesting to add as some parent continuously wipes out the baby’s saliva from their toys:

The good news is that your baby’s drool coats toys and other objects with disease-preventing proteins. That’s fortunate — since she’ll continue to explore anything she can get her hands on.

More Time To Sleep. The baby now sleeps longer, about 4 to 6 hours every night. And I am luky that Sati sleeps like that.

Rock And Roll. Although not all babies can do it, some babies can now roll over a bit. They can turn from their side to their back or from their back to their side.

I am not sure if propping up at two months are allowed but I read from somewhere that you will know if the baby is ready. If its head and neck are supportive enough and if they don’t slump when propped up. Look at Sati, she can even support her head at standing position.

Lasik Surgery

I have a very poor eye sight. I am nearsighted and I also have astigmatism. Lasik surgery is my only option to correct my eyesight. When I chanced upon Lasik Surgery Boston, my desire to have a LASIK surgery increases. I have learned from them than LASIK surgery procedure usually last for 2 hours. The laser treatment time is only about a minute but there are preparations needed. The patient will be in the treatment room for 20 t 25 minutes. Patients needed to relax first and they are given a relaxing medicine. Watch the video below to see some insight about the procedure.

If there is one thing that I am afraid about, it’s the danger of blinking while the procedure is on going. What if suddenly I blinked? What will happen to my eye? And then I learned from Boston Laser that there is now way that the patient can blink during the procedure. They use an instrument to hold the eyelid open. And patients won’t have the desire to blink because the reflex for that is lost due to numbness. I am all for LASIK now!
