3 Reasons Why Having More Kids Is Easier

A few years ago, there was a study that says having 3 kids is the hardest while having 4 kids seems to be easiest. And now, another study suggests that having more kids is beneficial to moms too! A study by Simon Fraser University researchers suggests that the more children a woman has, the slower she ages.

Is it really true? I can hear screams of NO WAY from moms who has only 1 child and those who have 2 or 3. Moms who have 4 or 5 kids, what can you say? From my own experience, I think there is a truth to that study. I can honestly say that I am my prettiest and most relaxed phase now that I am a mom of 5? What is it? Is it the experience? Or am I just more responsible now or more matured? I think there’s a lot of factors and here are the 3 biggest reasons why.

3 Reasons Why Having More Kids Is Easier

EXPERIENCE. I guess that should be our number 1. Nothing beats that. Child #1 is easy to handle when sick. Child #2 is SUPER HARD to handle when sick, just the sight of the medicine dropper makes him/her more sick. And then comes child #3 who needs ER overtime, just a rashes, go to ER. Just a bite, go to ER. And then there’s child #4 and you already know what to do. Having child #4 or more feels like having a PHD in motherhood. Somehow, you just know what to do, whatever it is. No more panic, but just a series of steps that you can perform even if you are sleeping.

LESS PRESSURE. When I only have 2 kids, I feel like I need to be the best mom possible. I started teaching them as early as 6 months old, made sure that they are potty trained before 3. I even tried homeschooling. And when they’re already in school, I made sure to tutor them after school, make mock exams for them and tried the be what I think is the best mom for them. Now that I have more kids, I just feel like the pressure to be the best mom is less and that all I need to do is just be a mom to them. I become more relaxed as a mom.

Now that I have 5 kids, I no longer tutor my older kids, my youngest who just turned 3 is still not potty trained. But it’s OK, I still feel good as a mom.

MORE ME TIME. When you have only 1 child, it seems like you need to focus your 100% to them. All you do is for your child. Then another one came and the struggle becomes real. How do you divide yourself to two kids? You just made it, and you try hard to give 100% each for the kids. And then it became 3, and that’s. It’s chaos everywhere, there is just not enough of you to give to your kids. And then it became 4 and you realized that you can’t really give 100% each to your kids but just give the best version of you to them. That’s the time you realized how important it is to take care of yourself too.

That’s what happened to me. When I had more kids, I realized that in order to survive, I also need to take care of myself. Having more kids is not actually having less time for me.

YouTube Kids Safe Use Guide For Parents

YouTube Kids is a different app fromYouTube. It’s an app built to be a family-friendly place for kids to explore their interests. With the news of suicide game targeting kids and suicide challenges invading YouTube kids, one can help but think other ways to make YouTube kids safer for our kids.

Google permits news stories and videos intended to raise awareness of and educate against the challenge. They have not seen any indications that the Momo challenge is on YouTube. In addition, this content has not been found on YouTube Kids.

Here’s a statement from YouTube spokesperson:

“YouTube’s Community Guidelines prohibit content that’s intended to encourage dangerous activities that have an inherent risk of physical harm or death. We remove flagged videos that violate our policies.”

If you are still worried, here’s how what you can do to make sure your kid is 100% safe usingYouTube KIDS:

Step 1. Sign in to your Kid’s YouTube Kids account. This is a bit tricky specially to those who just used YT Kids.
📍Open the YT kids then click the lock button at the lowest right area. There’s math in it, use a calculator or set up your own passcode. I recommend NOT setting up your own passcode.
📍Click settings. Click your kids username. You will be asked to sign in to your google acc.

Step 2. TURN OFF ALLOW SEARCHING.
When you turn search on, your child can access millions more YouTube Kids videos beyond the home screen. This allows them to search for new content on their own. When you turn search off you restrict your child’s experience to a more limited set of videos.

Step 3. TURN ON APPROVED CONTENT ONLY. When you turn on approved content only, you can handpick channels and videos that their kids can watch inYouTube Kids. Add channels that are safe and appropriate for your kids.

Add our KIDS YOUTUBE CHANNEL:
The A Toy Z channel
Channel about toys!

Step 4. Turn on PAUSE WATCH HISTORY.
This stop the app from using new video views or search terms to recommend videos.

Step 5. Set a TIMER. Go back to LOCK BUTTON along with your calculator and click timer.

The Phantom Of The Opera Manila 2019 Review

10 Things You Need To Know Before Watching The Phantom Of The Opera Manila

#1 The Phantom Of The Opera Manila is BREATHTAKING! It’s more than just a musical show. Yes, your ears will explode from all the music that you will hear but prepare your eyes as well! The visual effects is spectacular. There are so many scenes that you will forgot you are watching a theater show. The scenes are very believable that your mind will trick you into thinking you are actually watching a movie. You know there’s a big production challenges between the two.. so hands off to the production team of The Phantom Of The Opera. YOU GUYS ARE REALLY THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA!

*it’s ok to sneeze pero if you have cough, jusko wag ka manood please.

*even if you have no idea what Phantom of the Opera is or you haven’t watched since 1998, IT’S OK! Buy a ticket and watch it. You will enjoy more if you have zero expectations. TRUST ME!

#2 Arrive EARLY and leave late. The lines to two of the most iconic wall displays for The Phantom Of The Opera Manila for photo opps is LOOOONG! If you want a photo opportunities for these walls, you need to arrive really early (theatre Foyers open 2 hours before every performance) or leave late. The staff inside the theater are not allowed to take photos but there’s a designated staff from each displays outside that takes photo. Puro selfie lang magagawa mo sa loob ng theater.

#3 Speaking of photos, CAMERA IS ALLOWED and taking photos as well. It is allowed BEFORE the show, during the interval and AFTER the show. Cameras and mobile cameras are not allowed during the show, even during curtain call. How can you even think of taking photos/ video during curtain call when your hands are busy CLAPPING!

#4 CLAPPING IS A MUST. Where on EARTH did you came from if you won’t even clap? Each performance is clap worthy, I promise you. And during curtain call, when you feel like clapping is not enough and there’s the urge to stand up. STAND UP! even though the people around you are not standing up.. if you feel like their performance is worth standing up, STAND UP. Shout/scream if you must, it worth all your tonsils.

#5  Food is not allowed inside the theater but there’s a place where you can buy around the area. There’s a food court in Solaire so you can grab dinner before watching the show. Please do east so you will have the energy to clap and shout.

#6 And though clapping is a must. SINGING ALONG IS A MUST NOT. Don’t you dare! Baka mag trending kayo. The theater is not a KARAOKE BAR. The people paid 7000 Pesos not to hear your voice. Singing along is a mortal sin. Mapupunta kayo sa impyerno pag nag sing along kayo. DON’T YOU DARE!

#7 Dress code: What to wear when watching The Phantom of the Opera Manila? SMART CASUAL. No jeans please. No pambahay clothes and wear heels please. No bayong bags. Solaire theater is small, don’t piss off other patrons with your bayong bags! Bring small bags please.

MALAMIG BA SA SOLAIRE? Inside the theater, it’s not but sa Solaire mismo, yes malamig sya.

#8 Best Seat to buy? And how much is the ticket to watch The Phantom of the Opera Manila?

I watched from Premium Balcony, 3rd row, center area. That’s a gold ticket worth PHP7,250.00. If your budget is for Price Zone A (PHP5,850.00), get a seat at the center area. I tell you, being in the center gives you the perfect view of the stage. That’s the best place where you can really appreciate the props and the visual effects (which I believe is 50% of what the show is all about). You can check the seat view from Ticketworld website. The best seat for me is premium, first row.

But I am planning to watch again from orchestra and see the difference. Update ko kayo!

#9 Prices of memorabilia. How much are The Phantom of the Opera Manila memorabilia? The Phantom of the Opera Manila shirts are prices at 1500 Pesos. Jacket for 2500, keychains for 600 Pesos, and ball-pen for 1500 Pesos. A must buy is the shirt and the rose (600 Pesos) as well as the tote bag.

#10 The Phantom of the Opera Manila Age Restriction. Performances are recommended for children 5 Years old and above. The show is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The show started exactly at 8 PM, 20 minutes intermission around 9:20. The show resumed at 9:40 and ends 10:30. If your kid can’t sit that long, please don’t bring them as leaving during the show, though allowed, is not acceptable.

Check in nyo na lang kids nyo sa Solaire. What’s the best tower to book in Solaire if you are going to watch The Phantom of the Opera Manila.

Solaire Sky Tower is your best bet. Minimal exposure to casino from entrance. No exposure to casino during check in. No exposure to casino when going inside Fresh (where buffet breakfast is served). No exposure to casino when going to the The Theater. Best part about Sky Tower is nearest access to pool. If you have kids, check the Sky Tower Studio. Ang laki ng room!

The Phantom of the Opera Manila is open until March 31, 2019 at the Theater At Solaire.
