3 Ways To Pay Off Debt In The UK

All over the world, people are wrestling with debt and increased living costs. Buying groceries, paying rent, and purchasing necessary items for your family have all increased in price while at the same time wages have either decreased or stayed the same over many years. This makes raising a family and having everything that you need without credit cards or debt quite a challenge. Many families are so stifled by debt that they not only live paycheck to paycheck but they are also struggling to make debt payments on time. This article will focus on sharing a few ways to pay off debt in the UK.

  1. Personal loan. If you have a credit card with a high interest rate, you should consider paying it off with a personal loan. Be sure to apply for a personal loan that has a lower interest rate than your current credit card rate otherwise you will be losing money. By paying off the debt with a lower interest personal loan, you will save money by paying less interest over the life of the loan. You can do this easily by applying online. Often times you can get an instant answer and work on paying off your high interest loan or credit card right away. Check out https://www.paydaypixie.co.uk for more information and to begin saving money today!
  2. Balance Transfer. Many credit card companies will entice you to apply for their card because of their great balance transfer offers. Many offer a 0% APR intro rate for up to 18 months. With this great rate comes a 3-5% transfer fee that occurs one time. While this fee may cost you a few hundred dollars depending on your balance, you will save more money over time by avoiding the high interest on your credit card. If you do choose to do a balance transfer, be sure to close your credit card after the balance transfer has been completed. Otherwise, you might be enticed to purchase items on your paid off credit card which would leave you in even more debt.
  3. Pay more than your minimum payment. Try to pay more than your monthly minimum payment as this could be reported on your credit score. Whether you pay your minimum payment or a bigger payment, your credit score will be affected. In addition, if you pay over your monthly payment, you will likely pay off your credit quicker as long as you don’t continue to make purchases with it.

Paying off your debt can be done. All it takes is some time, patience, and responsible budgeting. The key is to lower your interest rate and pay more than your minimum payment. Try to use any extra money towards paying off your debt. By doing so you will pay your debt off quickly and pay less interest over time. By being diligent with your debt payoff plan and following these tips, you will be able to pay off your debts and live a debtfree life in no time at all.

5 Things To Do Before Making The Decision To Employ Someone

Whether you are an experienced recruiter or recruiting for the first time, you must be prepared at all times. After all, you will be representing your company and just like the candidates, you too will need to make an impression! Here are 5 things you should do before making the decision to employ someone.

1.Know what the empty position is and what personnel it requires
If you are working with a hiring manager, you need to ask him or her specifically what they are looking for. In addition to that, you also need to have a proper understanding of the job designation. As a recruiter, if you don’t have a proper understanding of the position on offer, how will you expect to find the right candidate for the post?

2. Be prepared to impress
If you are looking to fill a niche job designation, you will need to be on your top game. After all, people who hold special niche qualifications will need to know exactly why your company is the right fit for them. You can impress the candidates by giving them a tour of your company, explaining the various perks of your facility and discuss benefits of working with you. Doing this will give you more room to build a connection with the candidate.

3. Importance of structured interviews
According to reliable reports, rather than coming up with questions on the spot, it is much more effective if recruiters prepare questions beforehand. Of course, structured interviews need not be limited to only asking questions on the sheet; you do have the clearance to ask follow-up questions and other relevant questions.

4. Do a background check for criminal record
Of course, it is important for you to go through a candidate’s LinkedIn profile and application before interviewing him/her. As we mentioned earlier, just like the candidates, you, too, will need to make an impression. And, you can make a candidate special by simply acquiring the extra information from their profiles on Linkedin. In addition to that, it is also of paramount importance for you to do a background check for criminal record. You will save yourself a lot of trouble by going through an arrest warrant records search. So, how can you do a background check for criminal record? Well, you can do so by simply visiting the site, recordsfinder.com.

5. Be prepared to answer the candidate’s queries
As we have mentioned several times before, despite being the interviewer, you will not be the only one asking the questions in the interview. Towards the end of the interview, the candidate will ask you questions to identify if the job designation is tailor made for them. And, you must be able to convince them by letting them know the daily responsibilities of the role. If you chose to not select a particular candidate, you should seriously consider providing a feedback. According to reliable sources, more than 94% candidates expect to know what it was that prevented them from making the cut. By providing constructive criticism, you will be able to provide a positive experience to the candidate, therefore, making him/her more likely to consider your company as a future employer.
