Was it just last week when I got an invite from Mustela Philippines (they launched their newest skin care line: Mustela Maternite Skincare )? Oh I can’t even remember when was that! All I can remember is my sadness for turning the invitation down. It would have been a perfect addition for Marius stuff and me. Mustela is a known skin brand for babies that is committed to the safety of babies. Their products are hypoallergenic, high-tolerance and do not contain any parabens, phenoxyethanol, phtalates or alcohol. It’s basically the best products for a new born baby.. and who’s having a new born really really soon?!? ME! *sniff *sniff (while drooling over Mustela products)

BUT! Mustela and ARC PR Inc surprised me with a basket filled with Mustela products! I am sooooooo happy! (just imagine a very very pregnant mommy doing cartwheels!)

Mustela Maternite Skincare offers two products for stretchmarks prevention:

Both stretchmarks prevention products should be used at the earliest time you’ve learned you are pregnant. I think the active ingredients present in this Maternite products helps the dermis layer of our skin become more elastic.

The only reason why I’ve been delaying my blog make over was the fact that I don’t have a decent photo to put on my profile picture. Puro home made photos! I need a decent camera + a decent look (if that’s even possible! hahaha). Problem solved when the husband gave me a Canon EOS M3. Now for that decent look! Sai is soooo easy to work with and very professional! I was hesitant at first to book her and invite her over my house. Simply because I can’t think of the best place to hold the make up session. Teka kulang ang ilaw sa bahay! Meralco, pakidala ang spot light! (Kung pwede lang di ba). Naku all my worries naman pala eh nonsense. Look at how professional her set up is (bitbit nya lahat yan papunta dito sa bundok ko):

When you’re pregnant, sitting for a very long period of time is not easy di ba? Pero naku the whole time Sai is working my decent look, I never felt that kind ofuneasiness. Daming kwento eh!

She even shared with me some basic tips on skin care (specially for busy stay at home moms), basic make up tips (lalo na ang kilaaaayan portion!) and some make up essentials that moms should have!

Skin care tips for mommies: There’s no better skincare advice I could give to my fellow moms that CTM (Cleanse. Tone. Moisturize). Sleep is also a great factor. Get enough sleep every day and to be well-hydrated at all times.

The eyebrow tip! Don’t overdo it. For beginners, I usually recommend to follow your natural eyebrow shape. It never fails! Use an eyebrow product that’s 1 to 2 shades lighter than your actual hair color.

And if you’re looking for the best lipstick shade, here’s what Sai have to say: You can never go wrong with a red lipstick. It’s classic and very versatile. You can wear it at work, when doing your groceries or during a date night with your husband.

For Make Up Essentials, Sai said it really depends on you. But these are the few things that should always be in your kikay kit:

Your favorite foundation, BB or CC cream
pressed powder
lipstick
mascara
3 basic powder shadow colors (satin white, brown, black)

Let me try to count the ways. See how fresh looking, content focused my blog’s new lay out is? Of course, Squeesome Design Studio is the one responsible for this new look.

During the process of my blog make over, I just told my designer that I need a blog that can display as much content as possible in a very organized manner. I want my blog’s homepage look to mirror who or what I am in real life. A clean freak organized mom with so much to share.

Obviously, my designer did a very very very good job! WAIT! If OVER APPROVED is a phrase, that’s exactly what Squeesome did to my blog.

My blog’s homepage layout and inner page lay out is different. I told Squeesome that I want my inner page to be two column with the post area on the left side. I told her what are the widgets to display on the sidebar, starting with the About Me Widget (which she also designed) to my stats widget.
