If not for coffee, I am no supermommy (take a look at my About me logo on the side)..so anything that goes well with coffee wins my heart!

and that’s what happened during the #DiscoverLotusBiscoff event last week.
We’ve known Biscoff from last year’s cookie butter craze, what we do not know is, the cookies where it came from is equally addicting.. specially when paired with…
TADAH!

COFFEE!
no wonder the hashtag #EveryCoffeeNeedsALotus is a worldwide trend! Coffee is much much better with Lotus!
Ay you have to try it to believe! Coffee then milk (NO SUGAR), drink with Lotus… a moment of awesome discovery!
Dali, try it na and tell me how it was!
Or let’s have a coffee date? Sagot ko ang Lotus Biscoff Cookies + Chika, sige pati na rin coffee, who wants?
Lotus Biscoff Cookies known as Lotus Speculoos in Europe is now here in Manila!
Quick History:
1960s- Lotus Biscoff Cookies was tagged as Europe’s Favorite Cookie with Coffee
1985- Lotus Biscoff was introduced to the United States as an in-flight treat
2011- Lotus Biscoff becomes a household name in the US
2014- Fly Ace Corporation brings Lotus Biscoff in the Philippines
Fly Ace Corporation is also the distributor of some of my favorite brands (yours too for sure!) Doña Elena, GoodLife and Jolly brands (Mushroom, Jolly Cow, Jolly Cooking Oil etc).
During the event pala, Chef Vicky Veloso-Barrera made some interesting dishes using Lotus Biscoff cookies.. this one stands out:

Instead of using ciabatta, Chef Vicky used Biscoff… The sweetness of Biscoff balances the saltines of the beef, making this dish a favorite in our table during the launch.
So yes, aside from being a coffee partner, Lotus Biscoff can also be used to make interesting dishes… and given its sweet taste, Lotus can make desserts more interesting too!
Who’s shopping for Lotus this weekend? ME!
