Three Boys and a Princess Show: Shobak and Merry Christmas Jenny

I love music in the sense that I love the drama behind it..I love the emotion on the song, hence I am more inclined to musicals (and sometimes rock) than any other genre. Husband on the other hand loves almost anything classic..but mostly 80’s..

and the kids!

oh they love Shobak.. Merry Christmas Jenny, Someday and The Show.. those are their favorite song.. Someday has been our anthem for the past few weeks, watching it on youtube for more than 3x a day..

Someday aka Mean by Taylor Swift.. the music grows on me and I love the lyrics.. talk so much about bullying and how to cope up with it, not to mention the video’s really cute and Taylor’s lips is sooo full! I want that shade!

Shobak is a song that took me an hour to figure out what it really means..

Sati: Mommy, nood tayo ng shobak.
Mommy: Anong shobak?
Sati: ung shobak sa computer! shobak!
Mommy: after thinking for an hour.. ahh shobak!

and to why it was called SHOBAK, I will leave that to your imagination haha

Colors of Life, Family Shots Electrolux Photo Contest

Each family has their own fashion style, some dress up to the nines and follow the latest fashion trends, while some prefer wearing comfy but stylish clothes. In celebration of Electrolux Philippines’ 10th Anniversary, they are searching for the most stylish family.
So, if you think your family has a great sense of style, submit a photo of your family (at least 1 parent and 1child) in your most fashionable outfit and get a chance to win exciting prizes from Electrolux. The winners of the Family Style Shots will also be invited to participate in a fashion show.

Mechanics:

1. Visit the Colors of Life Electrolux Photo Contest tab of the Little White Book Facebook page and read the mechanics. Then, go the electroluxman.com site.

2. Upload the most stylish photo of your family (featuring at least 1 parent and 1 child) and fill in all required information (name, address, mobile number, email address). The submitted photo should at least contain 1 parent and 1 child; Only the immediate family (mother, father, siblings and may extend to grandparents) of the entrant can be featured in the submitted photo entry.

3. Then they must answer the question, “Why is your family the Most Stylish Family?” (Answer preferably in 500 characters or less) and press the button submit. Participants will receive a notification email that their entries have been received.Once this has been done, particpants will see a prompt notification that their entries have been sent and that a notification email should be sent to the email they provided in the information. In the email they will also be notified that the picture will be screened and that from all the entries, only 20 will be chosen and uploaded to the Little White Book Facebook page for Voting.

4. The criteria for the choosing the final 20 entries will be as follows:
• Concept of Warmth and Happiness – 25%
• Creativity – 25%
• Fashion Styling – 25%
• Originality -25%

5. Promo period is from July 23 to August 26, 2012. Last day of submission is August 26, 2012.

6. By registering and submitting photos to participate in this promotion, registrant/qualified participant confirm, agree to and acknowledge the promotion guidelines. Electrolux Philippines reserves the right to disqualify a photo and/or a message following the grounds for disqualification of entries found in these guidelines.

7. The top 20 entries will be uploaded into Little White Book Facebook page for public voting. The results of the online poll will be taken into consideration during the selection of the winner.

Someone will scream in delight…

my little sister is coming for the long weekend.. and I am pretty sure she would scream in delight when she sees this:

My sigarilyas bearing fruit! It happened right after the flood.. I think my plants were threatened by the flood and started bearing fruit.. I have noticed that after Ondoy, the fruit bearing trees in the subdivision started to flower and bear fruit earlier.. ang galing di ba, they feel like their existence was threated kaya they bear fruit para di maubos ang lahi nila.. haay nature!

My sigarilyas has been flowering for what seems like forever..but because of plant worms, the flowers never made it..hahays..pero ngayon.. ay naloka ako ng bongga when I saw the fruit! Another gardening dream fulfilled!

Sadly, my sili did not survived the flood.. good thing, I already harvested some of its fruit a few days before the flood:

Oh well, I just have to pant another sili, this time I will plant it on a pot.. mother said, sili never really liked water, that’s why it died after the flood.
