Mommy Does Not Care About Her Kids

I am beginning to feel at home at The Medical City.. LOL

Yesterday, first born was rushed in TMC. Supposedly, he is channeling Po the Panda on him, hence the kick and the stunts. But he fell.. and his chin landed on the floor.. There was a small cut but opened.. yikes.. I almost lost my mind seeing it.

While we were on the way to TMC, hubby was yelling and frantic.. screaming.. saying that our kids will die because nobody watches them when they play (fyi, my two boys are 6 and 5 not 2 and 1 hehe). Hearing the word die, my son says:

Mommy am I going to die?
I don’t wanna die Mommy.. I am too young..

OK that made me smile and calm a bit. haha but that makes me want to put a tape on my hubby’s mouth. LOL

On the hospital, he was really frantic.. the husband.. and oh the child too. The doctor said it needs to be stitched.. major waaaah!!

So while waiting for the doctor.. we had a small talk.. about being brave and all.. I explained to him why daddy is like that.. that he is just scared to lose him.. to which he replied..

MOMMY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ME..

bwahaha.. because, you see, I was calm all along.. and why I should not be? I can’t let him see Mommy is afraid and scared.. but deep inside me.. I am lost.. and I am slowly losing my mind..

He is fine now, a bit confused because he was expecting that when we arrived on the hospital, there would be stretchers where he would be placed, nurses and people shouting EMERGENCY! EMERGENCY!

shout out to the attending surgeon and the attending nurse.. thanks for making it easy on him
