More Holy Week Photos

I was away last weekend because of Holy Week. As you all know, that week has the most days where there are no classes, now work and no TV (lol). As for me, it’s a time worth spending with my family and time worth enjoying my dslr. It also served as reunion time for me and my grandmother and their first time to see Sati. One of the reason why we went home was to see the Holy Week procession that is being held in our town (Talavera, Nueva Ecija).

This Holy Week procession is a traditional way of depicting Jesus’ last days on earth through the use of carozzas and religious icons. A procession was held as the carozzas lined up together with the family of the owner.My grandmother owned the Prayer in the garden icon. And no, I am not posting this as part of me being religious, this post is for art sake only (so please don’t think this post as offensive).

I had a blast taking photos of all the carozzas and for sure you will be hearing about it in the coming days.

Foreclosed For Sale

While we were here, my mother pointed out that there are a lot properties here that are for sale. Those were outer banks foreclosures property. Outer banks foreclosures according to her are properties that are foreclosed by the banks and now they are selling it. Correct us if we are wrong. But yes, she said, most of the times it is cheaper to buy foreclosed properties.

We have no plans on buying properties yet, we still don’t have the money LOL. Mom just loves torturing us with real estate prizes.

Crazy Meeting

It was funny because yesterday, I saw again, my father. Well, fyi, my parents are separated since I can remember, er, since my elementary days. The last time I saw him was 2 or 3 years ago during my grandfather’s wake. My feelings for him is still the same, nothing, indifferent, nothing at all (though there are time that I pity him). Him, as usual, talked about his products like best colon cleanse. He even discussed something about salt and Himalayan, whatever that is. I will have to research about it and see for myself. And being a good salesman, he even gave us sample of his product.

If there is something good on meeting him yesterday, that is, meeting my half siblings. It was nice to see them again.
