Jesus Christ Superstar Merchandise and Prices

Here are the Jesus Christ Superstar Merchandise and Prices available at the merch booth for the Manila run at The Theatre at Solaire. A theatre experience is not complete without bringing home a piece of the show, especially when it is something as iconic as Jesus Christ Superstar.

Jesus Christ Superstar Merchandise Must Haves

 Jesus Christ Superstar Merchandise

For me, the must-haves are definitely:

1. JCS Shirt, ₱1,700

I really like the vintage wash look of the shirt. It has that classic rock musical feel, which fits Jesus Christ Superstar perfectly.

2. JCS Cap, ₱1,000

The cap is an easy souvenir to wear even after theatre night. Simple, useful, and very collectible for fans.

3. Souvenir Program, ₱1,000

Of course, hindi mawawala ang souvenir program. Aside from being a nice keepsake from the show, this is also perfect if you are planning to try stage dooring and have it signed by the cast.

Where to Buy Jesus Christ Superstar Merchandise

You can check out the official merch booth when you watch Jesus Christ Superstar Manila at The Theatre at Solaire. Availability may vary depending on the show date, so it is better to visit the booth early before the performance.

Jesus Christ Superstar is an iconic rock opera that retells the final days of Jesus Christ through song, focusing on the relationships and emotions surrounding Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene, and the people around them. The Manila run is happening from May 2 to 31, 2026 at The Theatre at Solaire. Tickets are available through TicketWorld, the Solaire Box Office Level 2, and TicketWorld outlets.

You may also want to check current Solaire promos before booking. Solaire has theatre-related offers, including dining perks for ticket holders, and there may be show-related ticket or stay packages available during the run.

Jesus Christ Superstar Manila Review

There are shows you watch because they are popular, like Les Misérables, and then there are shows that bring you back to a very specific time in your life. For me, Jesus Christ Superstar is one of those shows. So here’s my a bit biased Jesus Christ Superstar Manila Review.

Jesus Christ Superstar Manila Review

So why is my review a bit bias?

Back in college, part of our lunch break routine was watching Jesus Christ Superstar with my two kumare/sorority sisters. It was one of those little college memories that stayed with me.

Me and bff/soro sis

So imagine finally seeing it live on stage in Manila, not just as an audience member, but also as part of the media, with one of my sorority sisters beside me. Full-circle moment talaga.

Jesus Christ Superstar Manila Review: The Music

Most of us already know the story, especially those who grew up with Holy Week culture, senakulo, religious films, and yearly retellings of the Passion of Christ. The story is familiar. The characters are familiar. The ending is familiar. So worth it pa ba panoorin kung alam mo na ang mangyayari? For me, yes. Very much yes.

Why Jesus Christ Superstar Is Worth it

The music is already powerful on its own. There is so much emotion in every word, but hearing it live gives it a different kind of impact. It is louder, rawer, and mas ramdam na ramdam mo talaga.

Since Jesus Christ Superstar is a rock opera, no dull moment for me. The show moves through song, emotion, tension, and big vocal moments. From ensemble numbers to emotional solos, the cast delivered the energy you expect from a rock musical, but with enough heart to make the story feel human.

Jesus Christ Superstar Manila Review: The Production

What makes this Manila production exciting is how it takes a story we already know by heart and presents it with a different kind of energy. It has the intensity of a rock concert, the movement of contemporary theatre, and the look of a modern production.

Hindi siya yung usual traditional na story telling na nakasanayan natin. Modern ang costumes, the staging feels fresh and the choreography makes the story feel more alive and relatable.

Jesus Christ Superstar Manila Review
Jesus Christ Superstar Manila Cast singing Hosanna

What really impressed me was how visually entertaining the production was. Alam mo yung feeling na kahit hindi mo masyadong madinig yung lyrics, mafe-feel mo pa rin kung ano ang nangyayari because of the choreography? That is how this production felt. Hindi lang siya basta mga taong kumakanta sa stage. Full visual experience siya.

Every scene had something to watch. Every number had its own energy. It felt theatrical, but at the same time, it also had that rock fest feel that made the whole experience more exciting.

Gab Pangilinan as Mary Magdalene

One of my biggest observations from the show is Gab Pangilinan as Mary Magdalene. She’s very flirty as Mary Magdalene, in the best and most character-driven way.

Kuha niya yung singing, but more than that, kuhang kuha niya yung acting. Her Mary Magdalene had softness, tenderness, confusion, affection, and quiet longing. Hindi lang siya basta kumakanta nang maganda. She tells the story through the song. Ramdam na ramdam mo yung emotions ni Mary Magdalene.

Jesus Christ Superstar Manila Review: Favorite Moments

Ang hirap mag-pinpoint ng favorite moment ko because everything stands out.

There were emotional moments, intense moments, and full-on wow moments. The production knows how to build tension and make the audience feel what is happening on stage.

The only part where I felt a little bit underwhelmed was the Simon scene. Personally, nakulangan ako sa chaos doon. Given the energy of that part of the story, I was expecting it to feel more explosive and more overwhelming.

Wearing Sunscreen Even at Home: Is It Really Necessary?

When we talk about sunscreen, what usually comes to mind first? The beach, right? Or maybe spending a long time under the sun: walking, going for a run, or simply being outdoors. For many people, sunscreen is something they only remember when they are about to go outside. That is why wearing sunscreen even at home can seem a little unnecessary at first.

Wearing Sunscreen Even at Home

But the truth is, staying indoors does not always mean your skin is completely protected from the sun. Even when you are just at home, your skin can still be exposed to sunlight in small ways throughout the day. It may not feel as intense as being outside, but over time, that daily exposure can still affect your skin. This is why sunscreen is still worth wearing, even on stay-at-home days.

Why Sunscreen Still Matters Even Indoors

Hindi porke nasa loob ka ng bahay ay hindi ka na maabot ng sikat ng araw. Natural light can still enter through windows, glass doors, and other open areas in your home. If you spend most of your day near a window, work in a bright room, or simply enjoy natural light indoors, your skin may still be getting sun exposure without you realizing it.

What Daily Sun Exposure Can Do to Your Skin

Init lang naman yan, pag na expose ka, nainitan ka, mag fan ka lang, ok na ulit. Actually, even small amounts of sun exposure can affect the skin in the long run. And one of the most common effects is premature aging. Yung 30 ka pa lang pero mukha ka ng 50s due to fine lines, dullness, or skin that starts to lose its smooth and fresh appearance earlier than expected.

Daily sun exposure can also lead to dark spots and hyperpigmentation too. Over time, repeated exposure may also contribute to visible skin damage that becomes harder to manage later on.

That is why sunscreen is not just about preventing sunburn. It is also about protecting your skin from the everyday damage that can slowly build up and affect its overall appearance and health.

The Sunscreens I Use at Home

And as 40 something na late na nalaman ang lahat ng information na ito, these are my sunscreen products kapag sa bahay.

Wearing Sunscreen Even at Home

For my face, I use Belo SunExpert Dewy Essence Sunscreen SPF50+ PA++++. That is if I have no intention to go outside. But if I do or yung mabilisang sundo lang, I layer it with Belo SunExpert Tinted Sunscreen SPF50 PA++++

Wearing Sunscreen Even at Home

For my body, I use Belo SunExpert Body Shield SPF60 PA++++.

These are the products I normally use while staying indoors. They work well for me as part of my daily routine at home.

For me, wearing sunscreen at home helps me stay consistent. Instead of treating it as something I only need for outdoor activities, I see it as part of my everyday skincare routine, right after moisturizer, sunscreen na agad!

How to Choose a Sunscreen for Everyday Home Use

Choosing a sunscreen for home use does not have to be complicated. It helps to look for one with enough SPF for daily protection, along with UVA and UVB coverage. For example, a sunscreen with SPF 50 can help protect against UVB rays, while PA++++ indicates strong UVA protection. A lightweight formula is also a good option, especially if you want something comfortable enough to wear every day indoors.

That is why, for me, Belo SunExpert products work well for everyday use at home. They feel comfortable on the skin, which makes it easier to stay consistent with sunscreen even on days when I am just indoors.

How to Apply Sunscreen Properly at Home

I apply sunscreen after moisturizer, last step sya talaga sa skin care routine. This helps it sit on top of other products and protect skin properly throughout the day.

It is also important to apply the right amount. Using too little may not give your skin enough protection. Sa totoo lang, I do layering sometimes.

How and when to reapply sunscreen? General guidance is to reapply at least every two hours kapag lumalabas ka. Kung sa bahay lang and less exposure, one good morning application may be enough for the day. But if you spend long hours near windows, get a lot of natural light indoors, or step outside from time to time, reapplying is still a smart habit. Rule of thum ko: Kapag naramdaman ko na yung hapdi ng init, re apply na agad.

The most important thing is consistency. Once sunscreen becomes part of your daily routine, it starts to feel less like an extra step and more like something your skin simply needs.

At the end of the day, wearing sunscreen at home is a simple step that can still make a big difference for your skin. Even when you are indoors, daily protection is still worth it.
