Banish Derma Roller And Masque Review

First time to receive an invitation to review a skin care from the US. Normally, I would say no. I am not a beauty or skin care blogger, I just love taking care of my skin. But Banish Products are hard to say no to. So here I am writing my Banish Derma Roller And Banish Masque Review.

Here are the products that I received:

Banish Derma Roller And Banish Masque Review

Almost a month after it was shipped, I got a notice from my post office. Basically, shipment from US to the Philippines is 3-4 weeks.

The Banish Kit I got includes the following:

  • Banish Kit (Banish Oil + Banisher Roller) $75
  • Vitamin C Beauty Elixir $19
  • Pumpkin Enzyme Masque $49 $35
  • Activated Charcoal Clay Masque $29

Here’s my short Banish Derma Roller And Banish Masque Review I posted on Youtube:

Banish Derma Roller And Banish Masque Review

The video also includes How to use the banish roller and the masques.

I received two masks, Banish Pumpkin Enzyme and Activated Charcoal. I prefer the Pumkin Enzyme Masque because of the smell. For me, it is also easier to use since I do not have to prepare it. I also love the tingling sensation it gives to my skin. And I am planning to order another bottle soon! Whenever I use this masque, I always receive compliments about my skin. I use the Banish Pumpkin Enzyme Masque once a week.

I less like the activated charcoal because it is less convenient to apply. I have to mix it water to form a paste and apply to my skin. I also find it a bit challenging to remove. I see some users preferring it as nose pack rather than a face mask. I still have to try together with the pumpkin masque (I realized my nose needs some serious work!).

The Banish Kit is their best seller because of its effectiveness. It includes a derma roller which “pinch” the skin and in turn stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself. Feels like “What does not kill me makes me stronger” but this time “make me prettier” hehe. The oil that comes with it also helps the skin to repair itself.

Another favorite from the Banish products I received is the Banish Vitamin C Beauty Elixir. It works like a mist and I use it 2-3 times a day, depending on how dry my face gets.

You can get your very own set of Banish Kit by ordering at Banish Acne Scars online store.

Read about what other costumers has to say at Banish Facebook Page or watch short videos on how to use the products at Banish Instagram Page.

Piolo Pascual Eye Can Succeed Event

I have been wearing eyeglasses since grade 3. Paulit ulit ko naman sinasabi yan ano? Pero that’s something worth sharing di ba? I have been wearing eyeglasses for 27 years na. Piolo Pascual Eye Can Succeed Event

My kids started wearing eyeglasses as early as 6 or 7 years old (sorry na, #momnesia), mas bata pa sa akin. Poor eyesight runs in the family! It’s sad but we don’t dwell on that, we focus on the solution and not on the problem. And thank goodness we have the means to buy my kids eyeglasses. I just can’t imagine my life without eyeglasses or how difficult my kids life would be without one. Ang hirap magbasa sa blackboard no. Specially with us na ang surname ay P! Pag nag arrange alphabetically, kawawa ang mga anak kong malalabo ang mata.

But not all people or kids have the means to buy an eyeglasses, let alone afford an eye check up. In fact, at least ten in every 100 Filipino students are suffering from poor eyesight. Quite alarming ano? This concern has led Essilor Vision Foundation (EVF) to team up with leading actor and brand ambassador Piolo Pascual to launch Eye Can Succeed. The program is geared at providingfree eye check-ups and free prescription eyeglasses to help 10,000 senior high school students pursue higher education and achieve success.

And I am very proud to be a part of the first ever Eye Can Succeed Advocacy Event with Piolo Pascual. Here’s a video of what happened during the event and a short message from Piolo Pascual to the students.

Piolo Pascual Eye Can Succeed Event in Rizal High School Pasig

EVF kicked off the advocacy campaign at Rizal High School, which has been recognized by the Guinness World Records as the largest secondary school in the world, by having licensed eye health professionals discuss the importance of healthy vision, proper eye care, and optometry as a career option for Grades 11 and 12 students in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) academic strand.

With the assistance of volunteer optometrists, EVF examined the school’s 4,000-strong Grades 11 and 12 students and distributed free prescription glasses to students who are in need.

The Essilor Vision Foundation is committed to eliminating poor vision and its lifelong consequences, and to providing underprivileged people the opportunity to live a better life through better sight. P.S. dahil we’re both wearing Eassilor eyeglasses, gusto ko lang i share ang aking first ever selfie with Piolo Pascual. Piolo Pascual Eye Can Succeed Event

How To Join Hakab Na 2017

While reading the FAQ of the most awaited mommy event of the year, HAKAB NA 2017, medyo natawa ako ng slight. How To Join Hakab Na 2017

How To Join Hakab Na 2017

The whole Araneta is your osyter. Buong Araneta Coliseum ang breastfeeding room! Strike anywhere, kahit saan, kahit anong oras but there is a minute where in sabay sabay na magpapadede ang lahat ng padede moms, not just the one in Araneta but sa buong mundo. Hakab Na 2017 is part of the Global Big Latch On.

(Si ate pa ito, year 2013 sa Baguio)

Strike anywhere din kameng mag-iina when it comes to breastfeeding. Minsan sa Baguio, minsan sa Tagaytay o kung saan abutin ng tag gutom si Baby Marius. Sometimes we use cover up, most of the times we don’t. Which reminds me mga curious questions ko for the HAKAB NA 2017:

Pwede ba magdala ng nursing cover sa Hakab Na 2017? yes but it is not encouraged bec the main goal of the event is to normalize breastfeeding. Walang hiya, hiya mga inay.

Is feeding bottle allowed? yep but NO TO FORMULA! Kung water lang naman laman at more than 6 months old na baby mo, pwede yan for sure. Pero kung balak mo mag formula feed sa breastfeeding event, teh mej kakapalan yan ng fez.

Strollers are not advisable but carriers are.

So ang tanong, any brand of carriers will do? Even my QB ring sling? Yep it is allowed. It’s all about breastfeeding, that’s the focus of the event and not about carriers.

How to Join the HAKAB NA 2017 if I am not a #padedemom? You can still join and register as a witness kahit hindi ka pa padede mommy. Ang mga buntis are encouraged to attend kase aside from the Big Latch On, marami pang activities ang nakahanda that is catered not just for breastfeeding moms but also to those na nag pa plan pa lang.

How to Join the HAKAB NA 2017 event?

May part dyan that says BRING YOUR TRIBE and the reg fee is mas mura.
