Update and New Year, New You Winners!

I felt like I need to expand my last blog post about my little boy.. the saddest part of blogging..

It all started when I learned I can work at home through online jobs, forums and then blogging.. then I gave birth to my youngest girl.. juggling between tending an infant, breastfeeding and building blogs, I almost neglect my 3rd son. And my 2 helpers were very helpful in that aspect…specially the older helper. She took care of my little boy to the point that my boy asks for her even during night time.. It was heartbreaking for me and I almost lost my sanity knowing that my boy prefers my helper than me.

It was my wake up call.. and from then on, I made sure that I will attend to all his needs and that no matter how busy I am. I bathe him, wash him prepare his milk and nap with him. Those little things, I learned are the most important to him. In no time, he was back into my arms. He’s mommy’s little boy again (not helper’s little boy haha).

Blessing in disguise, my two helpers left. I learned to manage my time well. Now, he’s very close to me.. and I am very thankful I had that wake up call. He’s clingy and I love it!

Moving on… the past few weeks gave me not time to attend to my online obligations..and to start my “work mode week” here are the winners of the New Year, New You giveaway 🙂

The Saddest Part of Blogging..

I was looking for a blog post here in my blog.. something about painting and how I can’t paint again after giving birth.. it’s a touching post.. or at least for me.. but I can’t find it!

As I was browsing my blog..nostalgia hit me.. you know, like looking in a photo album.. same feelings, same sentiments.. then I came across a post about one of my kids..

and my heart melts. no, more like, it scattered into pieces.. I cry.. reading that blog post made me realized how much time was lost between me and that boy of mine.. it was a very sad realization.. my heart ached for that time.. for the lost time with him..

I know there is no use crying over it.. but I cannot help it.. there’s a lump in my throat, part of me wants to scream and be angry at myself.. what have I done? too much on my hands back then..

It was a sad chapter in my life..even if I am now trying to make it up to him, I know times like this would always come.. and it would always be the same.. the lump in my throat.. that, wanting to scream..

I asked my husband as we sip our Nescafe Classic coffee (mine is creamy while his is black) in our porch (naks porch daw oh!)..he answered: habit. Of course I know the answer to that..asking him err more like teasing him is like drinking coffee, it’s a habit.

We start our morning like that.. wait, let me rephrase that, he starts his morning like that, while for me, that would be my second cup. My first cup of coffee was earlier. That cup I called, my moment of peace. Taken during dawn.. alam mo iyong oras na nag aagaw ang dilim ta liwanag? That’s my favorite time of the day, the best time to enjoy my first cup of coffee 🙂

and this is how the first cup is done:

smell the coffee.. blow a little.. sip a little.. enjoy the taste and look around..
haaaaaayssss.. peaceful, quiet morning… this is how drinking coffee should be..

haaaaayysss.. thankful for moments like this..and thankful for the day that’s about to come..

I’d do that until I had the last drop of my coffee..
