Eco Friendly Products From Droplets Of Nature

I still have a long way to go in terms of being green or living a green and eco-friendly life. I am getting there one by one, from bringing an ecobag every time I shop to lessening our carbon footprints. I am also on the look out for organic products and eco friendly products. And my recent finds are eco friendly products from Droplets of Nature:

Droplets of Nature Eco-friendly dish washing liquid is made from poato/corn surfactants, listed as Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) by the US Food & Drugs Administration (US FDA). The dish washing liquid is loaded with essentials oils, must be the reason why it feels soft to my hands. It smells good too.

Aside from safe ingredients, the dish washing liquid also has kitchenware conditioner making kitchen wares last longer. And not only that, kitchenware dries up easily and the dish washing liquid have shinning effect on the wares. And as I noticed it, the concentration of the dish washing liquid is really thick (part of Droplets of Nature promise to their clients to provide eco-friendly products that have value for one’s money- it is 3 to 5x concentrated than your ordinary dishwashing liquid).

Droplets of Nature Beauty & Bright Line offers two products:

Beauty & Bright Skin Lightening Body Soap and Anti-Aging Serum Bar. The first wash- off serum bar in the market and made from acai berry and moringa extract. I think this soap is perfect for my mom. She love anything Moringa and the anti aging serum will do great on her skin.

Beauty & Bright Skin Lightening Body Soap and Anti-Aging Serum Bar is an all natural soap that effectively lightens and moisturizes the skin, loaded with moringa, acai berry, kojic acid, papaya, lemon extracts and lactic acid.

Beauty & Bright Facial & Body Lightening Moringa Soap has 7 skin lightening and Beautifying Extracts: Moringa (Malunggay), Papaya, Kojic Acid, Camellia Japonica, Candeia Tree Oil, Oxalis Triangularis Oil & Plant-based Lactic Acid. The combination of  three potent extracts Moringa/Malunggay and the Three (3) Power Oils (Camellia, Candeia, Oxalis Triangularis)makes the soap more effective The 3 Power Oils have been clinically proven more effective than Arbutin in skin lightening. I really like the smell of this soap.

Droplets of Nature Hand Sanitizer is very mild and safe for baby’s hands. It is made from plant-based lactic acid (acting as anti- bacterial), fruit-based alcohol and essential oils (acts as natural moisturizer). I never leave home without the hand sanitizer, specially when I’m with the kids.

My Great Brazilian Madness Experience

Being an Ipanema and Grendha fan I am happy to be at The Great Brazilian Madness (Trinoma Activity Center) yesterday.. and yes it’s madness all over! There were buy 1 take 1 Ipanema sandals and a lot of discounts! Naloka ako sa dami ng tao! We were there around 11 am at siksikan na.. we lined up for the cashier for 2 hours yata.. Sulit naman because I got 13 pairs for only 4700 Pesos!

13 PAIRS! white, brown, black and dark brown GB Colorful Sea Kirey buy 1 take 1 for 700 Pesos lang.. I bought 5 pairs (ung ka buy one take one nung isa sa friend ko).. one for my mom, 3 for my sisters and one for my mother in law (ay shungak! nakalimutan ko ung brother ko and his GF! akala ko pa naman naka complete shopping ako.. ulyanin mode!) that’s 1750 in total.

The brown Grendha shoes with ribbon is for my sister.. that’s 800 PhP. The white Rider is for hubby (400 PhP). Obviusly the brown/white Ipanema is for the little girl (420 PhP). The yellow flips flops are for the boys.. 5 pairs for 280 PhP each. Napaaga ang Christmas shopping! LOL

O di ba, ang cute nilang tingnan pag pare parehas ang slippers! waaahh na excite tuloy ako makita sila magkakasama, luwas na Dylan and Kieth!

Here are some of the items you can find: Buy One Take One for the kids 550 PhP (same style)

Buy one take one for adults (700 PhP buy one take one.. same brand)

I was thinking of buying my little girl the violet and pink wedge.. kaya lang.. sira ung barcode ng pink wedge! kaines!

eto ang scene kahapon:

Tips on shopping at The Great Brazillian Sale:

  • Be there early, if you can come before 10 AM that would be better.
  • DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS with you, but bring a companion so one can proceed to the cashier line while the other one shops.
  • Know the sizes of the shoes/sandals you’ll buy before going.
  • Hoard if you want!
  • And oh, eat a heavy meal before going.

Happy Shopping!

Introducing The Guy To Your Family

A couple of years back a friend of mine met this great guy online. Yes, you heard (or should I say, read) it right. She met him online, a foreigner. She did take note of the importance of online dating safety though. She made sure that this was not a “fake” or “dangerous” guy. She learned to ask the right questions, draw him out so she would know the real him. And as their connection led to courtship and then more, he decided to come and see her in person, meet her family. The challenge then was how would she introduce him to them? What could she (and he) do to make the introductions a bit easier?

One of the things my friend did was to tell him more about our country, our culture. This helped him to understand how things are being done in our country, what is important in our culture. Thankfully, he was more than willing to learn. She referred him to books, websites that helped him know more about our country and culture. This would help him prepare how to relate, interact with her family. On the other hand, my friend also began opening up to her family about her foreigner beau, his life, and his culture. She was really familiarizing them about him so that when they would finally meet, it’s not like they were meeting a total stranger.

Another thing my friend also did was to already include her family in their online chats and calls. She asked the guy first, of course, if he was willing to do this. Thankfully, he was willing. His affirmative answer, of course, was also a clue that he was that sincere in their blossoming relationship. As he and her family had their share of interaction online, her family began to know him and appreciate his efforts to reach out to them before his travel time to the country came. So if you are currently involved with a foreigner boyfriend/fiancé that you may have met through a dating site, you could take these major points from my friend. Share about your culture to your foreigner boyfriend/fiancé. It will help him a lot to connect with your family. And so will introducing him online to your family before his actual arrival in the country. Make those communication bridges even before he comes. This will go a long way towards a better interaction and relationship between this love of your life and your family.
