Some Changes on Blog List

I noticed that another reason why my blog is taking forever to load is the number of blogs on my blog list. It is more than 50 I think. So for better loading I decided to delete the blog roll, OK not yet done with it, and made a separate post about it. Hey you, don’t panic yet, it is not as if I am erasing your link on my blog.

OK first thing, first.. a blog roll is a list of your favorite blogs with a feed on it. It means that when ever your favorite blog updates, it will be on top of your list, or whatever the settings of your list. So I thought that this a good way to catch my blogger friend’s post, opps, not. Now that I have like more than 50 blogs on the list, I can’t keep up to it (not to mention it is eating up a part of my loading time). I realized too that it is not actually a back link, it is just a way to tell your friends that, hey you..I have a new post! and hope that she would click on your site..

So what I am trying to tell you?

Since there is a thing about following a blog, I made it a point that I FOLLOW all the blogs on my list (yeah including blogs not hosted on blogger). How to do that? Easy, just go to your dashboard and on the lower left is the list of the blogs you are following, just add a new site to it and voila! And since there is a reading list of all the blogs I am following, there is no way that I would miss your post (except if I feel like sleeping instead of blogging).

What will happen to the list on my blog roll?

For a stronger kind of back link, I will make a separate page for that.. I decided to stress myself a bit (it is as if having three rowdy, er, four, boys are not stressful enough) and categorize all the blogs on my list. If time and my patience will allow, I might come up with this on Monday.

I am thinking of making a small introduction on each site on my list and mention at least two back links.. when I am done, I will get back to you and please give me a feedback on how cool my idea was. ehek. I mean if I put you on the right category and if you are happy with my introduction.. and so on..

Enough blabbing.. I still have 20 or more to categorize..

You Are Inspirational Meme

When I started my link/blog reviews exchange I really did not expect that a lot would grab the opportunity. The Fedhz gave me an idea, why not making it a tag? That was a brilliant idea.. imagine tagging a person to make a review of your blog and she will tag persons to make a review of her blog. Then it dawned to me that my toxicity level cannot handle another toxins… so when Chris of The Mommy Journey told me about making blog review exchange like a meme, I told her I would support it all the way.

I hope my readers can see how helpful and fun this meme is, I hope you can join with us and share with us your blogger friends. The aim of this meme is to feature a blog every Monday with accordance to the theme set by Chris. Like any other meme, all you need to do is post an entry then come back to the source and put your link there. A meme will never be alive without participants and their participation by visiting entries of others who joined in the fun.

Featuring a blog is as easy as pie. All you need to do is talk about the blog you are featuring and mention at least three entries coming from the blog, with back links of course. If you must know, that is one of the purpose of featuring a blog, to increase back links.

The Wig

Last time I went to Divisoria, I found a treasure! yeah I know, Divi is liike a sea of teasure but this one is really the diamond. I found a WIG. In perfect shape, in perfect style and at the CHEAPEST price. Wigs are priced $25, that’s the shortest wig you can buy. This wig, I got for $12. SWEET!

So I surprised my hubby by wearing it and even some friends on the blogosphere. When me and Niko met, she was hesitant to approach me because she was expecting a short haired pehpot.. lol(darn! I brought my dslr for that meet up but we forgot to take some pics.)

I cannot explain how much fun this wig have given me and my sisters.. specially the time when I tried it on Cata and I was laughing hysterically that I cried and peed on my shorts. ugh!

For your amusement, here is a mix and match of my kid and my sisters’ kids. Tell me who is the fairest of them all.. lol
