Toy Hunt (Rabbit Toys)

This is the closest I can get for a rabbit toy. This is Chico’s soft blocks. He likes playing with it. I think it is very cool that people invented this kind of toy. As you know I ma big fan of blocks (may it be building blocks or just blocks), this addition is just great for babies. It is very soft and easy to clean.

LP: Garden

This is my ~~late~~ entry for LP. This week’s theme is Garden. I was having a hard time looking for the perfect entry for this theme. Finally I decided on this. This is a lemon grass in my small (super small) garden. Lemon grass is very popular here, that is judging from the number of people asking for it. It is very refreshing to drink lemon grass juice or tea from time to time. They say it is also good on chicken.

Eto po ang aking ~~huling~~ entry para sa Litratong Pinoy. And tema ngayong linggo ay hardin. Nahirapan talaga akong humanap ng angkop na litrato para sa tema ngayong linggo. Sa hinaba haba man daw ng prusisyon, sa harap din pala ng bahay ang bagsak ko. Ito po ay tanglad na nakatanim sa maliit (talagang maliit) na hardin sa harap ng aming inuupahang bahay. Sa tingin ko sikat ang halamang ito dito, ito ay base sa dami ng mga taong nanghihingi ng tanglad sa amin. Nasubukan nyo na bang uminom ng tsaang tanglad, masarap at nakakaginhawa. Sabi din ng byenan ko maganda ito sa tinolang manok, nakakaalis daw ng lansa. Hindi ko lang magamit kase bawal ito sa mga bata, sa buntis at sa nagpapasuso. Pero sa mga nag dyedyeta, bagay ito sa inyo!

Actually when I first learned that the theme for this week is garden, my eyes were fixed on this one:

Unfortunately we were not able to visit the place during Holy Week for the procession. I borrowed this photo from my cousin. It’s not mine so it’s not my official entry , but it’s worth the mention.

Ito po ay isang tradisyon ng pamilya ng aking ama. Ito po ay Ang Pananalangin Sa Halamanan (o di ba may hardin?). Kaso nga lang hindi kame nakauwi noong Semana Santa kaya hindi ko napanood at nakuhanan ang prusisyon. Ito ay pag aari ng aking pinsan na hiniram ko lang.

The Kids Are Sick

If there is one thing that I hate for having a lot of kids is the emotional torture when the kids are sick. You know having a lot of kids means a lot of fun. Having a lot of kids means worrying a lot too. When they got sick, you worry not just for one but for three! The last time the three of them got sick, I was drained emotionally. Now my two babies were suffering form an on and off fever. We rushed them to the nearest hospital for check ups. The pedia suspected that the kids maybe suffering from Pulmonary Complex. I have no idea what that is but I think it needs a long term medication. The kids were subjected to Xrays. My heart melts as I hear Chico cries from the X ray room. Maybe he was frightened by the lights and all.

From what I heard Pulmonary Complex is a form of TB on kids. It is like an adult gave a TB bacteria to kids. What ever it is, I hope it is not what it is. The pedia advised us to have our helper be X rayed. We did and we are still waiting for the results. The X ray results will come out on Friday. Tomorrow we have to go back to the hospital for more testings.

I hate when this things happen. My confidence as a mom crumbles. I feel guilty. I blame myself for it. If I can only have a microscopic eye to filter all the microorganisms.. aah..life would be better.
