And as if one crate of mangoes is not enough..sissy brought me a few kilos of mangoes.. Mangoes overload mga teh!

Gulp size mangoes.. baby mangoes.. in fairness, it’s sweeter and the seed is very thin.. here’s a comparison o:

Ang liit di ba? ubos na yan, isang araw lang tinira ng mga bagets.. isang upuan yata makakaubos ako ng isang kilo eh.. super tamis kase.. kaya lang mas mahal sya compared to bigger mangoes.. I think here, it’s 80 PhP per kilos where as bigger mangoes is at 70 PhP per kilo, in Pangasinan, it’s 45 PhP per kilo, bigger mangoes at 35 per kilo..

Now, what to do with these mangoes? Recipes anyone?

I can make a few mango shakes, mango ice candy, mango grahams cake.. chicken with mangoes.. what else?

Day 4 na ako! weeeee

This challenge excites me everyday..you know it’s not hard as I though it was.. or maybe the hard part will come when I run out of dishes (sana naman hindi haha)

As I have mentioned, for our 4th day, we will have pork giniling. This is one of Chico’s favorite dish and one of my favorite dish to prepare.. Bakit hindi, eh it is super easy to prepare and can be used to make two more different dish (tortang talong ang omellete). I was planning to have omellte for breakfast from the left over, unfortunately, I forgot to put it in the fridge.. sayang..

ON our 5th day, I plan on cooking buffalo wings + ginisang sayote.. hopefully I can prepare it before the school service arrives to pick up my school boys’ lunch.. medyo hassle gumawa ng buffalo wings no.

Frabelle Foods recently had its first ever Frabelle Foodie Chef winner! Held at Cafe 1771, together with Frabelle Foods endorser Senator Chiz Escudero as one of the judges, bloggers and media witnessed the announcement of the first ever Frabelle Foodie Chef winner. A few months ago, Frabelle held a contest at their Facebook page, inviting all foodies to submit their recipes using Frabelle products. Top 5 was chose out of the 50+ contestants and here are their winning recipes:

The criteria for judging the top 5 are the following:

Uniqueness of the dish – 40%
Creativity using Frabelle food products – 30%
Aesthetic Appeal (Plating/Foodshot) – 15%
Facebook likes of the dish – 10%

We were able to taste each dish and we were asked to choose which among the five is the best for us-naming it the media and blogger’s choice dish.

The winner got Php 20,000 cash and 1 day Culinary class at the Center of Culinary Arts-Manila, while the fonalist were given Php 5,000.00 each. And Frabelle Foods Foodie Chef Winner is:

Ms. Neneth Tiongkiao Madrona with her Frabelle Stuffed Chicken. She also won the media and blogger’s choice, where as Delish Muffin of Ms. Maridel Facleb won Chiz Escudero choice.

Frabelle Food mentioned that this is going to be a yearly event and it will be bigger this year, so watch out foodies!
