POTW: Safeguard and Olay (in small bottle!)

Don’t you wish that your favourite toiletries came in smaller portions? Whether it’s your favourite shampoo, soap or lotion, if you need to go somewhere for just a short period of time, it would be much more convenient than bringing their normal-sized equivalents. If you’re going for a short holiday with your kids, you’re going to be taking plenty of baggage with you such as clothes and toys, with very little room for toiletries. However, I worry about getting soap and shampoo mixed up, which leaves me feeling frustrated.

Thankfully, on my last shopping trip, I discovered both Safeguard and Olay, and they both came in small-sized bottles, and I can use it in a number of situations:

If you’re going camping, they can help save you a lot of room in your backpack. Bringing big bottles is something you shouldn’t do, and having both Safeguard and Olay with you are perfect for a week away on  camping sites.

You could take them both when going swimming. The small bottles can fit easily into a backpack along with your swimwear, towels and inflatable toys.

Taking them on out-of-town trips is also very handy. If, for example, you’re staying at a hotel, the toiletries on offer there might not be to your taste, so it’s better to be safe than sorry.

All the reasons listed above are why I’m calling Olay and Safeguard our Products of the Week. Olay is for me, while my husband uses Safeguard. We both use Safeguard for hand washing.

Every Wednesday I post about products that I have tried and loved.. If you want your products here, contact us and we’ll take a look on it.

Wish List For My Garden

Now that my plants are getting bigger.. I want to buy real pots and BIG.. as you may notice in most of our gardening photos, I reuse mineral water big bottles to serve as post. Now I need a bigger and I just know a place where to buy them>> DIVISORIA! (but I still don’t have the funds to do so).. this hobby is staring to be expensive! but I don’t mind 🙂

When we passed by at DIY in Greenhills earlier, I just went straight ahead to the gardening are and wished I had known this small post perfect for seedlings:

I have seen this at SM Megamall before, flower and plant stores near National Bookstore but when I started gardening I forgot all about! argh! so maybe next time.. when I need more seedlings.

I also took a photo of the post.. some of those I wish I can buy soon:

We spend an hour or two more in Greenhills.. where I bought a super cheap keyboard and looked for the best make up remover.. but haven’t found one (guess I’ll stick with the one I am using now).
