Comparing Cable TV to Satellite TV

I am not a TV fan, in a way that I don’t watch TV that much. I watch a few local TV shows from time to time but seldom that I stay in front of the TV for hours. It must be because I haven’t found an interesting series to watch on our local cable provider. Learning about direct tv and other satellite TV providers gives me an idea of switching.

What is the difference between Cable TV and Satellite TV such as directtv? Which is a better choive for a viewer and gives more value for its price?

Based on some readings, I learned that cable TV and satellite differs in terms of pricing in a way that it maybe the cheaper alternative for some but not for others. Say for example you love watching different channels and needs very many, satellite TV is more practical as they offer more channels for less. If you have a house with a TV in each room, satellite TV may not be for you as some companies will charge you per TV. In terms of programming, cable TV offers more local channel unlike satellite TV but they offer more than 200 channels.

In terms of choices cable TV offers limited pakackage unlike the packages offered by satellite TV like dx3. You have the power to choose the package that’s perfect for you and your watching need.

POTW: Cars 2 Cake

Product of the Week: Project Happiness Bakehouse Creations

When we started planning his 7th birthday, his first request was a Cars 2 inspired fondant cake or simply Cars2 Cake and cupcakes. And I already knew where I will order his cake, Project Happiness Bakehouse of course!

This is how the cake turned out. For the Cars2 cake toppers, good thing when hubby went abroad last year, he bought Cars 2 die cast for the boys.. Lightning McQueen, Finn McMissile and Francesco Bernoulli… unfortunately, I can’t find Francesco and the yellow race car was a good alternative 🙂

My 7 year old boy loved his cake so much! Just look at the excitement on his face as well as Mahat’s and Kieth’s 🙂

This is not our first time to order fondant cake at PH Bakehouse.. in fact it is our third and of course will not be the last 🙂

This is our very first order: Ben10 Cake and cupcakes. My first born’s 7th birthday party last 2010 and he was so much into Ben10 and omnitrix that time! His cake look like an omnitrix and the Ben10 cake topper is edible! munch…munch

Here’a another one: Tinkerbell Cake for Sati’s first birthday party. The fairies and the large flower looks so cute together.. and the solid color of the cake made it more interesting and nice to look at.

It never disappoints.

Always, it delivers a cake beyond our expectation and the taste, I never had a fondant cake this good. The fondant icing is equally tasteful as the cake. If only we can have this every birthday..we would! but you know cakes such as these are reserved for special occasions.
