Johnson’s Baby Bedtime Routine

So you know now how important sleep to our kids eh? If not, why don’t you CLICK HERE and learn how a a good night sleep can produce 3x more growth hormones and less stress for us (that’s the best right?).

And yes, the routine, the solution to our bedroom battle.. It is so easy and so fun to do.. for sure you will love this routine and will look forward to it everyday… and your kids will have the benefit of growing bigger and growing closer to your.

Johnson’s Baby Bedtime Routine has 3 steps.

Step 1 Warm Bath

Using JOHNSON´S® Baby Bedtime Bath, set the mood by giving the baby a warm bath. I this routine will be established, it will indicate or it will be a sign that it is already their bedtime. A warm bath can relax their body and you too can enjoy this by being a bit playful to your kid. If you are not sure how warm the water should be, try testing the water using your elbow. If it is too hot for your elbow, then it is too hot for the kids.

Step 2 A soothing massage

JOHNSON´S® Baby Bedtime Baby Lotion is your partner on this step. This is my favorite step because it gives us more bonding time. The kids love it when I massage them and I think it also gives them assurance that their mommy love them so much.

You can also use JOHNSON´S® Baby Oil for this step.

CLICK HERE for a complete instruction on how to make your massage time, a happy time.

Step 3 Quiet Time

So after massaging your baby, you can put JOHNSON´S® Baby Powder before sharing a quiet moment. After that, you can read them stories or sing a soft music to them. Me and my kids love to cuddle and as they fall asleep.

And if you are like me who thinks we should give our babies a better sleep, why don’t you support the online advocacy and place the I am a believer badge on your sidebar:

It is good to know that we, moms, are doing the best for our kids, believe now!

Mommy Moments- Welcoming A New Sibling

mommy moments

I missed last week’s theme. I can’t remember the kids having anew favorite. They are still the same. Although now they love playing outside with our neighbors. I would love to post it here but their dad (and me too at times) don’t allow them that much to play outside.

Good thing the theme for this week is so apt for us. It’s welcoming a new sibling! I hope you won’t mind posting a lot of photos of my boys with their pretty princess

That’s their first photo together. And below are their “moments” with their princess…

Kuya and Sati

Dico and Sati

And if you are done with my angels, why don’t you check out my other profession, I’m a PAPARAZZI..

Our contest is still ongoing. We are giving away $500 and more. Just CLICK!CLICK!CLICK! to find out how to join.

How To Stop Nail Biting

The older boys had developed a hobby, nail biting hobby! It’s not out of stress or nervousness, just plain hobby. They would bite nails while watching the TV, would bite nails while running around. Every time they have a free finger, they would bite on it. I am really concerned because I can’t stand their fingers, it is as if the nails are slowly fading. I can’t take it! I tried controlling them. I even threatened them that I will cut off their fingers since they love snacking on it, might as well serve it to them. It was a joke of course and it did not worked.

I researched on the net on ways to stop nail biting. I was not successful on finding ways to stop it but I found an article that somewhat erased my worries. Article from Babycenter shed some light into me.

What to do about nail biting:

  • Address her anxieties
  • Don’t nag or punish
  • Help her when she wants to stop
  • Talk about breaking habits
  • Help her become aware of the habit

When to worry about nail biting
In rare cases, severe nail biting can signal excessive anxiety. Consult your child’s doctor if she’s biting her nails so intently that her fingertips are sore or bloody, if her nail biting is accompanied by other worrisome behaviors, such as picking at her skin or pulling her eyelashes or hair out, or if her sleep patterns have altered considerably. In these cases, professional counseling may help

Now I know what to do to my two boys. Thanks a lot babycenter!
