What my kids are like, and how to raise your child/children in this day and age.

What To Expect On Easter Egg Hunting?

Time flies so fast, the Holy week is quickly approaching. As a family, we want to make things memorable for us. Holy week is a perfect time to spend more quality time with your loved ones. What we are looking forward to is the Easter Sunday. The kids are so excited for fun memories waiting for them.

We want the kids to enjoy some Free Easter Events in Metro Manila, thinking of at least two events. But before going to any event, we need to set expectations for the kids. We don’t want them to have fun for a moment and go home with less energy.

So, here’s a short checklist on what to expect for Easter Egg Hunting events:

Plenty of goodies
Yes, there will be many goodies such as chocolates, candies, etc. So you need to watch out for what your kids are getting. They may have some allergies, or they may lead to the excess eating of sweets. Make sure to give them some restrictions and save some goodies for other days.

Lots of different kids
You can’t control who’s coming for the event so make sure your children are friendly enough to handle grumpy kids. They may experience some unexpected situations over other participants so brief them with what they will need to do in case they will encounter troubled kids. Also, remind them about sharing and giving to others.

Unpredictable Weather
Bring sunscreen and umbrella for the event. The weather is unpredictable, it may rain, or the heat of the sun may strengthen. So to enjoy the event, make sure to prepare for the climate and do not let the weather ruined a beautiful day!

Fun activities
There will be lots of fun activities like games, coloring, etc. Make sure your kids will participate in the ones they like most so they can enjoy more. Never push them to something they don’t like, and for sure it will be a memorable Easer Egg hunting for them.

Long day
Yes, it will be a very long day ahead. So, bring some things to ease boredom due to traffic or long lines if there is any! Especially if you are coming from the Metro and will attend the Easter events in Tagaytay, traveling time may be long but it will all worth it when you arrived at the events.

Summer Workshops And Classes For Kids 2017

The kids’ school year has ended, and as a mom, I don’t want my kids to get bored from the heat of summer. I want them to explore more of their selves and have a self-discovery of great things that they can do. I can see my kids’ potential in sports, academics, talents, and other extracurricular activities. I know where each one of them excels best. Having five children isn’t a problem until each of them got different interests. It wouldn’t be a huge problem at all unless I got to enroll them into Summer Workshops And Classes For Kids because of each others’ differences.

Fortunately, my eldest and second have the same interest- they are both into sports, but I am planning to take them on a programming workshop and see if their dad’s blood runs on them. My third child is easier to get influenced by their big brothers unless he insisted a Parkour workshop this summer. Yeah, he is into ninja moves! My princess, of course, I want her to explore the things I hadn’t when I was a child. I want her to try singing, ballet, art class, baking, and everything a princess supposed to do.

Marius and I will just be watching them as they enjoy their summer activities. I came across a lot of Summer Workshops And Classes For Kids, but I have my top five in each category in which I keep a list to share with you. In random order, I made this list so I can quickly check where am I going to enroll each one of them.

Modern Baby Products For Baby Marius

Everything feels like it’s the first with Baby Marius. Sofi is already 7 when we have Marius so it feels like I am starting over again! Specially when it comes to baby products. I am sooo out of the loop! Good thing, I was introduced to Born Philippines. It’s an online shop that offers modern baby products.

When it says modern baby products, what comes into your mind? Modern means state of the art or up to date, kinda something like new or a trendsetter. For me, modern baby products means functional and is designed to be used by moms who wants to make the most out of their time.

From the products that was given to Baby Marius, my top 3 favorites are the following:

Wabitoys because it’s amazing. Watch the video above to see how it expands to a toy when soaked in water. I adore this toy because it’s small and can be easily stored when the kids are done with it. I am not a fan of big stuff toys because it accumulates dust, Wabitoys are just perfect. Wabitoys is available in 5 cool designs

Baby Cubes is just perfect for storing Marius food. He loves cauliflower so when we cook mixed veggies, I always make sure there’s some left for him. He also loves squash and sweet potato. I love that the cubes are small and comes with a tray and it is microwave safe.

The Ooga Silicone Mealtime Set is Marius’ favorite! He loves the spoon most specially. You can see naman why di ba? If Marius loves it, mommy loves it too!

Aside from the products on our video, Born Philippines also offers the following:

  • Designer Diaper bag and changing pads
  • Feeding Bottles (very hungry feeding bottles and not so hungry feeding bottles)
  • Baby Neck Pillow
  • Baby Bottle Holder and Pacifier holder
  • Silicone Mats, silicone bowl, and silicone spoons
