In addition, here is the 5 SIMPLE STEPS TO BE A MOMMY BLOGGER:

1. Create a blog name that will represent you as a mommy blog. Sometimes it's good to include the noun mommy or mother or nanay.

2. Create an email the same as your blog name for branding purpose, in other words, for identification. After that, you can proceed to step 3 which is actually one of the most challenging part.

3. Open a blog. It has been debated for so many times which is the best blogging platform to use. For starters, I usually recommend blogspot because it is free. On the other han, if you are ready to shell out money, wordpress org is the best. 

4. Design your blog. This sound like an easy task to do, it is actually, however, it can be very time consuming. The number of free templates for a blog is endless. To help you decide, set your blog tone and color. Will it be a dark themed blog? Light? What will be the primary colors? And from there, searching will be easier.

5. Lastly and most importantly, Start writing. The best way to start this is to introduce yourself. Likewise, you can also create a list of why you started a mommy blog. Or you can mention top 10 things that you would want your future readers to know about you.

Western Union announced its Share-a-Dream Fundraising Campaign

Western Union announced its Share-a-Dream Fundraising Campaign in the 10th Ambassador, Consuls General & Tourism Directors Tour

MANILA, Philippines – July 7, 2015 –Western Union, a long standing supporter of The Ambassador, Consuls General & Tourism Directors Tour (ACGTDT) to the Philippines, announced its Share-a-Dream Fundraising campaign at the tour’s welcome event that aims to raise funds for multimedia libraries to selected schools in the Philippines.

The annual tour is a heritage expedition organized by the Department of Tourism and the Department of Foreign Affairs. This year, the expedition will see the arrival of nearly 200 Filipino migrants from the US who are traveling through Manila and Cebu from July 5-10. The ACGTDT gathers delegates to visit the country as a way to experience and rediscover the rich culture and heritage of the Philippines.

“Share-a-Dream: Heroes for Better Fundraising” will be launched by Western Union as part of the Heroes for Better campaign. The campaign covers a search of the top 25 Filipino migrants with outstanding accomplishments and contribution in creating a better world.

The Heroes for Better campaign also recognizes the efforts of Filipinos around the world who have given their time, money, skill or expertise to make a positive difference in their lives, their families and the nation. Western Union will take an opportunity to put the spotlight on the migrant Filipino heroism during this entire tour.

From July 7 – 12, the ACGTDT delegates are encouraged to share with their friends through Facebook the stories of heroic migrant Filipinos under its Heroes for Better Campaign uploaded on the WUPinoy page (https://www.facebook.com/WUPinoy). Western Union will match the number of shares (1 share = US$10) with an equivalent amount go towards the fundraising. (Maximum contribution will be US$10,000.)

“Our goal in this campaign is in two-fold. Firstly, it is to raise funds that will provide multimedia libraries to various schools and organizations in the Philippines as an extension of our efforts to improve education, especially in financial literacy, for our children,” explained Patricia Riingen, Western Union Senior Vice President, Southeast Asia & Oceania.

“Secondly, the campaign will showcase Filipino heroism, making the entire country aware of their stories of courage and bravery and making us proud of being a Filipino.

“We are hoping that this campaign create a platform that will inspire Filipinos everywhere to be a Hero for Better,” ended Riingen.
