Anything mommy blogger related here. This features blog events coverage. This blog also publish press release and write ups. Tips and tutorials on how to be an effective blogger.

This also include a list of top mommy blog in the Philippines.

In addition, here is the 5 SIMPLE STEPS TO BE A MOMMY BLOGGER:

1. Create a blog name that will represent you as a mommy blog. Sometimes it's good to include the noun mommy or mother or nanay.

2. Create an email the same as your blog name for branding purpose, in other words, for identification. After that, you can proceed to step 3 which is actually one of the most challenging part.

3. Open a blog. It has been debated for so many times which is the best blogging platform to use. For starters, I usually recommend blogspot because it is free. On the other han, if you are ready to shell out money, wordpress org is the best.

4. Design your blog. This sound like an easy task to do, it is actually, however, it can be very time consuming. The number of free templates for a blog is endless. To help you decide, set your blog tone and color. Will it be a dark themed blog? Light? What will be the primary colors? And from there, searching will be easier.

5. Lastly and most importantly, Start writing. The best way to start this is to introduce yourself. Likewise, you can also create a list of why you started a mommy blog. Or you can mention top 10 things that you would want your future readers to know about you.

12th Tindahan ni Aling Puring Sari-Sari Store Convention With Globe

Globe boosts support for Filipino entrepreneurs with participation to the 12th Tindahan ni Aling Puring Sari-Sari Store Convention

Philippine number one mobile brand Globe Telecom further strengthens its support for Filipino entrepreneurs and sari-sari store owners in the country by being a major participant in Puregold Price Club’s 12th Tindahan ni Aling Puring (TNAP) Sari-Sari Store Convention on May 20-24, 2015 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

For the last 6 years, Globe was always present in this annual gathering of sari- sari store owners, offering support, exclusive services and offers for the growth of the sari- sari business.

This year’s convention, with the theme “Unlimited: Unli and Saya, Unli ang Ligaya!”, features around 150 booths from trade partners which offer different promos, big discounts, freebies, sampling, giveaways and exciting raffle prizes to all Puregold valued members and customers, VIPs, and guests. Aside from shopping, TNAP members can also attend various business-related seminars.

“The partnership between Globe and Puregold remained strong since 2010 and we want to continue this through exciting exclusive offers which will be beneficial to both our customers. Like Puregold, Globe wants to help small entrepreneurs make the most out of their businesses and we are looking forward to a stronger alliance with Puregold in the years to come,” said Bernie Llamzon, Globe Executive Vice President for Consumer Sales.

During the five-day event, Globe set up several booths to showcase its latest products and services. Highlights include GCash MasterCard, a reloadable prepaid card linked to a GCash account that can be used to purchase goods at the convention instead of carrying loads of cash; and Globe Charge, an important business tool that accepts MasterCard & Visa payments via smartphones or tablets, thereby, avoiding the hassle of applying for a credit card terminal from the bank.

In 2010, Globe launched the Aling Puring Super Suki SIM, a special multi-function SIM card exclusively available for Aling Puring members that enables them to receive text blast announcements and promos under special call and text rates. With the SIM cards, they are also able to sell prepaid load as additional source of income.

A year later, Globe and Puregold forged an innovative partnership for an easy and convenient reload channel that enable Globe and TM subscribers to buy prepaid load from any Puregold checkout counter via its point-of-sale (POS) technology.

Global Society For Human Rights Organization International Conference In Texas Email Invitation

Sooo I got an email inviting me to a conference meeting in Texas. According to the email, the organization inviting me is the Global Society for Human Rights Organization. Sounds legit! The conference will be about, “Sustainable Social Welfare and Human Rights” and will commence on September 7th to 12th, 2015 @ Plano Conference Center, Texas City USA.

The best part of this invitation is, the sponsors will cover the cost of my round- trip air tickets and the organization will assist me on my visa arrangement. I only need to spend on my hotel accommodations. A quick Google search and I have learned that there are hotels near Plano Conference Center that are within my budget. COOLNESS!

Let’s attend this conference!

Oh no no no no! It almost got me.. but no way! Here’s the screenshot of the email and I will tell you why I had doubts on this one:

Sign #1 Dear Sir/ Madam? They are inviting me and they are willing to sponsor me when they don’t even know me.

Sign #2 REPLY TO? Why is the the reply to email is different from the sender’s email?

Sign #3 Google result of Global Society For Human Rights Organization International Conference In Texas spells FAKE and FRAUD

I replied on the email with this>>> WHAT?!?

Still no reply from them but I am not going to fall for this one. It maybe legit and maybe there really is a conference, but I don’t care. Sign #1 is enough for me. You know how much I hate it when people email without my name on it. Related Story: How To Email Mommy Bloggers

Some of my mommy blogger friends also got the same email and of course they knew right away not to entertain the said email. “I’m guessing your personal information will be stored or used somewhere since they said they’ll process your visa etc,” Mommy Roxi even said on her FB wall.
