3 Reasons Why Kids Ink Is A Must Visit

We were invited to the opening of the newest store in Taguig: Kids Ink Store. Located on the 2nd floor of One Bonifacio High Street, 5th Avenue corner 28th street, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, Kids Ink store should be on your top must visit list before Christmas.

VLOG: KIDS INK STORE OPENING
Please watch my Kids Ink store opening VLOG and see for yourself how awesome this store is. Still not convinced? Here are three reasons why you should visit Kids Ink. BRING ALL THE KIDS!

Kids Ink store is curated for kids. And for a mom of 5 kids with different ages, I can honestly say that all my 5 kids will love this place. Books for all kids ages, from infant to teens, specially series books that my teens love. Harry Potter, Riordan, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Kids Ink have that. I even found a Harry Potter illustrated version for Prisoner of Azkaban (last copy! woohooo!).

And it’s not just about books, Kids Ink have arts and crafts section, educational toys, games, board games, and even party supplies. It’s a one stop shop for our kids, and for those planning to buy gifts for kids, Kids Ink is a must visit.

Kids Ink store makes shopping less stressful for moms. The store is big and well lit, kids can roam freely and there’s even an area where kids can play. During the opening of Kids Ink store, I was able to VLOG while Marius and Sofi plays Lego and read books. Ang saya saya ko sa part na yan.

Kids Ink store is a venue to a series of workshops for kids. During the opening of Kids Ink store, my kids had the chance to join the Elmer’s Glue Slime workshop. And according to Kids Ink, there will be workshops DAILY and most of these are FREE. Check out Kids Ink Facebook page: facebook.com/kidsinkph and Kids Ink Instagram account for details and info about Kids Ink upcoming workshops.

5 Best Christmas Gifts For Teachers 2017

I have high respect and admiration for teachers. Hats off to them for doing that kind of job. 30+ kids in one room?!? I just could not imagine. And my heart is specially close to those who teaches my kids, specially those who’s doing it more than they should. Aside from Teacher’s Day, Christmas is another day to let them know that they are appreciated. Sharing with you 5 Best Christmas Gifts For Teachers.

5 Best Christmas Gifts For Teachers

Baked Goodies or Food. I thought I am the only one who lovesss food as present. If you are going to give food, make sure that it is for sharing. It was mentioned that food given as gifts are usually shared at the faculty room. Sabi ng friend ko “good shot pa sya sa co-teachers nya.”

And I just found the PERFECT food (na for sharing) to give this Holiday: Red Ribbon HoliDozen Gift Boxes. It comes in a festive box designed with a colorful Christmas parol and a gift card!

5 Best Christmas Gifts For Teachers

HoliDozen Assorted Mamon (P252) includes a variety of melt-in-your-mouth mamon with flavors like Butter, Ube, Mocha, Creamy, White Choco Almond, Caramel, Cookies and Cream and Cheesy Mamon.

HoliDozen Cheesy Ensaimada (300) comes with a dozen of the mouth-watering pastry, topped with butter, cheese and a sparkling of sugar.

HoliDozen Assorted Pastries (282) comes with Cheesy Ensaimada, Butter Mamon and Choco Cake Slice.

Chocolates. Another entry for our 5 Best Christmas Gifts For Teachers that surprised me. This is best seller for female teachers according to a teacher friend.

5 Best Christmas Gifts For Teachers

And you wouldn’t get wrong with chocolates! Most brands comes in a cute packaging. Wala ka na problema sa gift wrapping.

Bag or big purses. Ecobag that can hold a lot of stuff is a nice gift. If you feel like being extra, add the name of the teacher for personalized effect. Teachers always have a lot to bring and a sturdy bag will be greatly appreciated.

Desk supplies or pens. Pens will do the trick, 100%. All the teachers I know mentioned pen as one of the gifts they appreciate. If you know the teacher’s favorite color, give a set of pen with different shades of her/his favorite color.

Grocery Pack or Ham for Christmas. Nobody can say no to this, even me! Specially if it is Holiday Ham hahaha. If Ham is a bit expensive for you, try spaghetti pack from the grocery. Each pack is less than 200 Pesos only. You can even add cheese + corned beef para complete na ang pang spaghetti ni teacher sa Christmas.

O ayan, hindi na kayo mahihirapan mag isap what to give to your kids’ teachers this Christmas.

BONUS: other items aside from the 5 Best Christmas Gifts For Teachers list  that you can give to teachers:

Kilay kit if teacher is kilayislife. Maybelline Fashion Brow Palette is a really nice gift and it’s very cheap ha, less than 400 lang.

Water bottle or folding umbrellas. If you wanna be extra, give her 2 of each.

Toiletries Gift Sets like the one from Dove is also a good gift for teachers.

What you should not give to teachers: PLANNER! because according to my teacher friend, teachers are busy they have no time to plan haha

RACKS Opens Two New Stores With NEW LOOK!

I have been thinking of putting up a MOMMY PEHPOT list page. A list of restaurants, products and places that got me raving for days or weeks. Still a work in progress but I already have a list! Included on the list is RACKS.. because of so many reasons!

Reason number 1: It’s one of those restaurants that keeps us full without hurting our budget. Imagine a bill of less than 2000 PhP for 6? We love ordering Racks Sampler, it got all the grills that we want. And we love the mud pie and the cheesecake for desserts

Reason number 2: The ribs! Need I say more?

FYI: Aside from the lip-smackin’ good baby ribs and the slow-cooked classic pork ribs, RACKS also serves flame-grilled Angus beef rib eye seasoned with signature steak rub paired with red wine au jus. For those who prefer chicken, the juicy hickory-smoked chicken and the good ol’ crispy Southern style fried chicken are go-to options.

Reason number 3: The sauce, which you can take home by buying a bottle or two! It’s worth it, I promise!

Photo exhibit: Friends from ARC PR and RACKS sent some BBQ sauce to us.. timing that our last bottle of the extra hot sauce is almost empty!

Reason number 4: The staff are really nice and RACKS is very family oriented.

Our favorite branch is their EL Pueblo branch.. because it’s the nearest and parking is easy!

What’s new with our favorite ribs restaurant?

RACKS recently opened its 15th and 16th branches:

  • RACKS Timog Avenue
  • RACKS Evia Lifestyle Center, Alabang

The new brances debut a new cozier look!

“We’ve decided to change our look to make the RACKS experience more enjoyable and authentic,” says Chukri Prieto, RACKS’ Managing Director. “A lot of people don’t know this, but RACKS stands for Real American Country Kitchen Style. We serve classic southern country dishes and we want that reflected on our restaurants’ design. In essence, what we want to do is to create a warm, homey atmosphere where people can sit back, relax and have fun while enjoying great comfort food with their significant other, family or friends.”

“We’ve committed ourselves to really upping our game this year,” shares Prieto. “We want everyone to watch out for the surprises we have under our sleeves. We’re going to be so much bigger and better, all in the name of providing everyone a more authentic and comforting experience.”

Other RACKS branches:

  • Festival Supermall
  • Greenhills
  • Paseo de Magallanes
  • Paseo de Santa Rosa
  • Robinson’s Manila
  • SM Fairview
  • SM Mall of Asia
  • SM Megamall
  • SM North
  • SM Pampanga
  • SM Southmall
  • The Fort Strip
  • Trinoma.

For more information, log on to www.racks.ph, or follow RACKSPHL on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Have you been to RACKS? What’s your favorite in the menu?

Love RIBS as much as we do? How do you want it served? Hot sauce or just regular Barbecue sauce?
