Best Gifts For Kids 3- 10 Years Old

Christmas is the best time of the year to be with our loved ones and enjoy together. Exchanging Christmas best gifts is one of the amazing things everyone enjoys. Sometimes giving the best gift for kids is a little bit tricky. Imagine if the kids get what they wished for, they will surely be happy and so do the parents too. For kids 3 to 10 years old, guessing what will please them is quite hard. You will either get a thank you kiss or a tantrum. Of course, parents will get upset too if they will receive the latter reaction. Well, you can’t blame that on the kid, rather, check what kind of gift will surely make them happy.

Best Gift For Kids Aged 3 to 10

Bike

Did you remember your joy when you received your first bike, or when you actually ride on it? Nothing beats the enthusiasm, right? You will never get wrong with a bike but make sure you buy one suitable for your child’s age. For 3-5 years old, look for those who have training wheels. For 6-8, find something that has 14-16 inches wheels. For older kids, they will love something bigger, a bike with around or over 18 inches wheels.

Book

If your kid is a bookworm, or if you want him/her to be one, then buy more books. You can even aid in wakening her spirit by giving a book. It is one of the best gifts in the world for all ages. Just make sure to buy which suits your kid, know what kind of genre he/she will enjoy. Books can let your child imagine the way he/she wants to and also enhance comprehension skills.

Play pretend toys

When we were young, we all loved pretending like adults- a teacher or a pilot. You can see a lot of play pretend toys in the market, from miniature to life-sized toys. If your place is small and you are on a budget, you can buy portable play pretend set where you can fold after playing. For spacious houses and have huge back or front yard, it is best to buy life-sized play pretend toys. A set of slide and playhouse is definitely one of the best gifts for kids.

Origami Brainteaser or Rubix Cube

If you have a kid who isn’t that active or a geek, an origami brainteaser or Rubix cube is perfect. These two toys are really brain twisting and at the same time, enhances brain development. You can also check other brain-enhancing toys as the best gifts for kids who love learning and intellectual challenges.

Building Blocks

Kids who love imagining and building things are fond of playing building blocks such as Lego and Mega Bloks. For kids 6 and under, it would be best to buy the Mega Bloks Classic. You can also consider the mid-sized blocks like Lego Duplo. For bigger kids, you can get the smaller version of building blocks.

There are many options for the best gifts for kids but these 5 are our top most favorites. Perhaps, having 5 kids who have different attitudes, likes, and style, it is easier now for us to know which will get the excitement out of them.

Mumemerry Ang Pasko

It was one of status post in Facebook and let me share with you why my Christmas is a merry one:

Uh.. there’s nothing big happening this season but I haven’t encountered some problems the past few weeks or months. I am happily contented with my life. The dreams are starting to be reality. What can I ask for?

I have great friends and when I say great.. REAL friends.. the Marce club and some offline friends. And I met a lot of new mommies this year! Though I let go some.. I gained more! yay!

I am so loved, 4 kids and an amazing husband… 3 boys and a baby girl. Every night, it feels like Christmas with them.

And though I had more nervous breakdowns the past few months more than I had my entire life, it’s OK, finally I am fulfilled financially. Who would have thought that a stay at home mom of four kids can earn that much?

Material wise, err, most of the wants and needs were here already.. so there..

There’s only wish though.. and that’s for my sister, it will mean spending the Christmas without them but it’s for their future.

Ikaw mumemerry na ba pasko mo?

Reports Are In!

It was the day that we all moms are waiting for, report cards from the school! I am kinda excited about it because this is the first time that I would see a report card (or progress card) of my kids performances. As a mother, it is my pride to know if my kids are doing great in school. I am a stay at home and the worst a stay at home can face is a failing grade. I have all the time i the world to teach and reinforce my kids I have all the time to see they knew their lessons well. And I did my homework just well. I am happy with the results.

My first born as expected got a higher grade compare to his younger brother. It was fine with me because I know their capacity. My younger pre schooler is a baby and his grades are actually higher than I expected. It was really a great feeling to see numbers.LOL

Moving on, if you have noticed, I am not much into blogging these past few days. I am not on my usual blog hopping to death activity. I have so much on my hand right now. My first born birthday is fast approaching. He wants a Halloween/costume party for his birthday. Good thing, from the Transformers costumes they had been asking, they now settle for a ghost and a zombie costume. It makes sewing a lot easier. I still have to sew a costume for me and for my little by and for my helper. I am so prep up for this coming Halloween. wew!

And just so you know guys, I decided I won’t be throwing a baby shower for me (kinda odd huh..) According to my OB, I can give birth as early as first week of November and I will make sure I give birth as early as that. So instead of a baby shower, ready yourself for Sati’s christening which will be on Christmas day! OK I have to step now, my hubby is complaining on my planning activities. He said it was too early to plan on those things.. but I am done planning for September.. what can I do?!?

Any plans this coming Christmas? and don’t tell me it’s too early.. I know your itching to write down your gift list.LOL
