Last Friday, I went out and had a Mommy’s Day out! Finally! Since my two helpers left me, I hardly went out and had fun. Since I had been keeping a David’s Salon voucher (bought from Groupon) that is about to expire, last Friday was the perfect time to claim my ME time (afterall, mommy has been very good the past few days LOL).

My appointment was 1 PM. I arrived before 1 at Podium with a very hungry stomach. Chicken Teriyaki at Yaku seems to be the best choice.. and a California maki with lots of wasabi is just perfect. I spent $10+ for my meal.. very unusual of me. But it was worth it. Eating alone is not that bad..

After a nice hair cut, I was supposed to check out the sale at Tektite (link to post) but hubby insisted we go home instead. While waiting for him, I bought the kids some cold cuts at Earles’ and a roast beef sandwich for me.

It was a fun day but it was really hard to be out the whole afternoon.. I really missed the kids so much.

If not for bigger purchase this year, I can have my dream car. But you know we need to set our priorities, it’s either we have a bigger car or a house we can call our own. We don’t travel that much and we can’t live in a car (not unless if it is an RV hehe).

But I cannot help but drool whenever I see vans, specially in the color I like and those with cool body kits and thule bike racks. I am fascinated by their kits, and I know if we finally have a van, I’d be the one that will splurge on body kits (makes me want to create an automobile blogs LOL).

Anyways, for now, we have to be contented with our sedan, so far, we can still squeeze our self in and have a comfortable ride.

I have been contemplating over the past few months if I should transfer this blog on WordPress. The reason why I should not to? none. All technical aspect will be taken care of my dear friend Sam. From the permalinks to the Google Friends Connect widget being carried out to the new home. The Pagerank and Alexa won’t be a problem too. Of course, the template will be take care by none other than, Wahmaholic herself (finally!). So why not transfer now? or soon? err.. must be for sentimental reasons. This is my first domain blog here in Blogger, feels like my first home.

Moving.. just like in real life, is so hard to do. There are things you need to take care.. boxes to be filled and clutter to throw.. And then unpacking.. haays.. maybe next week.. I will have enough courage to finally do it.
