Beating The 5 “Eyeritation” With Eye Mo

One of the vital parts of the body is the eye, and each pair is useful to our daily lives. I can’t imagine how difficult it is for people with vision impaired, take it from me, I am wearing eyeglasses for years. At first, I find it challenging but then, later on, I get used to it, and now I am enjoying my pair of eyeglass! However, even I wear my glass, I am not invisible to eye irritations. Some people believe that eyeglasses are great as shield especially if you are chopping onions. No, eyeglasses are not goggles!

I am not exempted from eye irritations, and always making sure that I have a remedy that is on-hand. Also, as a mother of five, my kids’ eyes are so important to me. As much as possible, I don’t want them to experience any of the eye irritations. However, due to some factors, there are times that they are unavoidable especially if they are in the school.

In a recent event I attended, Eye Mo, a leading eye drop brand, has identified the top 5 signs of eye irritation with their new campaign entitled “Eyeritation”. This campaign aims to educate Filipinos and call importance to proper eye care, which a lot of the time is taken for granted.

1.       Red eyes
It is the type of eye irritation that commonly occurred in people who are exposed to air pollution and outdoor activities. Commuters are the highest population who are susceptible to this irritation. Individuals who have allergies may also experience red eyes.

2.       Watery eyes
It happens when the eyes produce excessive tears due to irritation and allergies. It is very common to people who are wearing eye makeup. When a part of the eye is irritated, it will cause inflammation and will result in watery eyes.

3.       Sore eyes
I always warned my kids when it comes to sore eyes. It is caused by too much exposure to the eyes to the computer, cell phone, tablet, and even on books. That is why I limit them when it comes to these things. However, I am guilty; I am a huge book-lover, and most of the time, I spent time working in front of the computer.

4.       Itchy eyes
My third born son is very prone to itchy eyes. One time he is playing outside, and I can barely smell the pollen from the grass. After a few minutes, his eyes are getting itchy, and he can’t help but to rubbed it. A gentle reminder with itchy eyes, do not rub them even if you can’t stand the itchiness! Allergies often cause it so make sure to know the source.

5.       Dry eyes
It is also one of the conditions which are I am very cautious when it comes to the kids especially on their gadgets’ day. Too much exposure to devices, television, and air-conditioning system are very vulnerable to dry eyes.

These eye irritations can be easily combated with the use of Eye Mo. It comes in two variants, the blue one and the red one. The blue Eye Mo or Eye Mom Moisturizing Formula is specially formulated to battle eye dryness and other eye irritants. The red Eye Mo or Eye Mo Red Eyes Formula contains Tetrahydrozoline HCl for quick relief of eye redness.

Eye mo has been very helpful in fighting these eye irritations. I am an avid user for years and I always make sure that I keep them handy. Good thing that eye mo products are compact and easy to carry. I remembered when I was a kid, eye mo has been a part of my childhood. So, to create a wonderful world for my kids, I make sure they are free from eye irritations!

Eye Mo is now owned and manufactured by Combiphar Group of Companies, a leading multinational Indonesia-based consumer healthcare company, and distributed by LF Asia Philippines, Inc., who has more than 40 years worth of success as a leading healthcare distributor.

Self Storage Manila: Exploring Loc&Stor 24/7

After trying to organize our stuff, which are mostly toys and clothes I am a hard time letting go, I realized I need a storage solution. I need help from the outside! I want to rent a space where I can store our stuffsss. But! Self Storage Manila? Is that even a thing? Is there really a place here in Metro Manila that offers self storage?

I am going to save from a Google and tell you my “the space search mini story.”

Self Storage Manila: Exploring Loc&Stor 24/7 Storage Facility

Last March, I inquired at a self storage. And this self storage manila company is located here in Pasig! What are the odds di ba? A storage warehouse near me. So I emailed and asked for rates. Jusmiyo! Dalawang libo para sa locker size na storage? Teka, teka.

The locker got me. After seeing the word locker and the rate, I did not dare see the other options nor the specification of the locker. Eh locker daw eh, so I started imaging the lockers from Pretty Little Liars (wala pang 13 Reasons Why). Ang liit nun! If I am going to store Lego, keribels pero namamahalan talaga ako.

And so came an invite to check out the same self storage company. My curiosity got me. Baka naman malaki ang locker na sinasabi? The location is near me and  it’s a great blog content because self storage is very new here in the Philippines.

Self Storage Manila

Welcome to Loc&Stor 24/7.

A world-class storage and warehouse facility in the country which accommodates all your storage needs. From a small locker room to a unit as big as your bedroom. The location is very accessible and is near resident area and office areas. It is located in c5, almost in front of PLDT.

Back to the locker, malaki pala sya! Trust me, I saw it, I feel it. They say it can fit up to 8 Balikbayan boxes and it looks like it can. The rate? It’s 1925 Pesos and 2198 Pesos. What’s the difference? The cheaper one is housed on an area without aircon while the other on is housed on an area with controlled temp. The control temp room is also smaller compared to the regular room. But for 2000 Pesos, the room is big.

What are the advantages of storing at Lock&Stor 24/7?

  1. Less clutter in your home. Imagine Christmas decors, which you only use once a year. Where do you put all those ornaments? And the 10 ft Christmas Tree?!? Or how about those bloody heads for the Halloween?
  2. Your documents are safe and secured. Your stuff is safe from flood (uy Ondoy!) and fire (each unit have its own sprinkler). Your stuff is secured because Loc&Stor 24/7 security system alerts the owner of the unit if there is a force entry and all floors and areas are equipped with CCTV.
  3. Lock&Stor 24/7 has its own unloading dock and an elevator near the dock. The dock and the parking area is covered too.
  4. Lock&Stor 24/7 also offers other storage solutions items such as racks and boxes.
  5. Lock&Stor 24/7 is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. You have access to your goods anytime.

What are the storage units sizes and rates?

  • Locker which can fit 8 balikbayan boxes and rate starts at 1925 Pesos
  • Small, 20 balikbayan boxes, rate starts at 2391 Pesos
  • Medium, 40 balikbayan boxes, rate starts at 4516 Pesos
  • Large, 60 Balikbayan boxes, rate starts at 6376 Pesos
  • X Large, 90 Balikbayan boxes, rate starts at 7883 Pesos
  • XX Large, 130 Balikbayan boxes, rate starts at 11,495 Pesos
  • Jumbo, 180 Balikbayan boxes, rate starts at 15,152 Pesos

It’s hard to imagine how big each unit is but hopefully this graphic can help. But if you are really considering it, I highly suggest you do visit Loc&Stor 24/7 to see for yourself. Here are the contact details of Loc&Store 24/7
